  1. Not unreasonable imo. It's a vile album cover.
  2. Would you stop going like? Part-timer.
  3. Scored more than 13 other teams too. Another fact is that Kinnear has a record worse than Allardyce now though. We were discussing that on the train on the way back to Jockland on Saturday night. If these results persist do you sack the interim manager? If it wasn't enought to keep the likes of Allardyce in a job do we have the confidence to let this fuckwit remain in charge? I don't see how you can, no-one else will do it, A few more figures for those making their predictions, this time last year we were 6 points better off (22) and 18th place were 2 points worse off (13). An 8 point difference. Following Keegans arrival and late resurgance we managed to avoid relegation by 7 points. I still think we'll be fine.

  5. Roy Keane? I think he's a good manager yes. Wouldn't be too bad for getting us out of the Championship.
  6. I would normally agree with you but the only one of those teams we have beat so far is West Brom and by the end we were hanging on against them (and they are comfortably the weakest team in the league). Citeh are strong at home and could have spent god knows what by the time we play them so I wouldn't be betting on us beating them. I have been concerned before because of the way we were playing but our inability to beat shite at home combined with an even worse than usual record away from makes things even worse. Add to that the fact that other teams (like the makems and probably Blackburn) have the oppertunity to sack their manager and get someone else in who will give them at least a short term lift and possibly some money to spend in January while we have no chance of getting a new manager this season and very little of fatty putting some cash in for transfers while a lot of players will be thinking about being elsewhere. I really do think we could be fucked this season and I'm hoping for a meltdown at west ham to have much hope at all. To tell the truth, if someone had asked what would you hope for out of Chelsea (a), Boro(a), Stoke(h) I'd have said 4 points. To have gotten 3 isn't as miserable as Saturday made me.
  7. True. We gifted them the game rather than them winning it though imo, they didn't force us back with wave after wave of attacking football. We just gave up the ghost for some bizarre reason.
  8. that's what i thought about our recent run of games. that's why i'm worried. we should have picked up a least a couple more wins than we have done over the recent run of games. to be fair, if we can't dispatch the likes of stoke and wigan at home, i'm not sure we are good enough to stay up 2 games where I think the preformance warranted 3 points and only nerves saw us throw away the lead in the last minute. It's almost as bad as the Allardyce days, except he wouldn't have a lead to throw away in the last minute. What confidence Keegan had a chance to build is crumbling quickly like.
  9. To be fair we've gained more points after half time than we've lost. I think that's the first time Kinnear has let a lead slip.
  10. Most of our games against the top ten have been away from home, and we're still above the releagation spaces. I think we'll be alright. It'll get worse over Christmas, but after the FA cup we've got a run of West Ham, Blackburn, Man City, Mackems and West Brom that'll see us do a bit of a jump up the table.

  12. I hope Keegan is shown up as a quitter and all of Ashley's claims are proven correct. It won't happen, but it would be FAR better for the future of NUFC. I don't follow that. The job wasn't attractive to anyone even when Keegan arrived, but now he's walked and told the world that he had no control over transfers it's even less so. Once he's proven correct it does nothing to make us an attractive proposition. If it turns out Keegan manipulated the situation though, in an attempt to get out of a job he didn't actually want, then it would regain our owner and chairman a bit of the integrity they've lost and perhaps allow someone better than Kinnear to think they could fancy a bash at the job. Keegan winning has no positives for the club as far as I can tell. Wanting Keegan to win is to want more turmoil at NUFC. It might force Ashley's hand. Personally I can't see any great benefit with Ashley staying either, most of the damage is done and I can't see us attracting much even if he comes out with some grand statement about not selling and taking NUFC forward. A clean start at least gives us a chance, assuming we can get a decent buyer. Force his hand with what? He can't sell the club, there's not been an offer in over 3 months. He's not going to just walk away and give the keys to the NUSC committee. He might sell it for a realistic price. I can't see him taking a loss either way. I can't see the case going as far as a ruling either like. As it stands though, I'd prefer someone outside the club to be the one discredited, not someone inside it. Looking at it the other way reminds me of the people that would hope for a loss when Allardyce was in charge so he'd get the sack. Understandable, but not the way I roll.

  18. Can't remember anything but the Hitler bit, the awesome opening shot and this...
  19. I'd only go as far as the foreskin.
  20. I thought the options were either what you suggested, or put Viduka on and Drop Owen back for the 443 that's been proven to work. I never even considered the option he took. 7 defenders on the pitch (including the keeper) and we still concede.
  21. Wasn't the NOTW banging on about him wanting to stay last week? I'm pissed off at whatever's going on, but the newspaper shit is still shit.
  22. There was an article in the journal about that yesterday, about the lengths Keegan went to to keep the Bassong deal hush. A Trialist on the teamsheet did little to alert anyone else. Kinnear's talk could all be a red Herring though.
