  1. I'm coming round to Bon Iver too. Didn't like it at all at the start of the year. No such luck with Fleet Foxes.
  2. Wolf Parade TV on the Radio Atmosphere Black Mountain Camille Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip The Cool Kids The Dodos Extreme Fuck Buttons GZA/Genius Hot Chip Jamie Lidell Marnie Stern NOMO Santogold
  3. Not sure of my weekly average but I've had 10 units of LCL and 5 units of Blossom Hill so far tonight.
  4. On channel 4 now. Class. "I should have killed you back in Philly!"
  5. I don't normally do this, but...
  6. Them 20 lads in Gateshead were just following his example.
  7. Burn after reading - I think the reviews have been harsh. Easily the funniest film I've seen this year. Certainly funnier than Wall-E. "What the fuck!"
  8. The worst bit is that he looks like one of the Charlton brothers. Utter legend, and recognised as such in his lifetime. I'm sure at 75 he's grateful for every moment he's had and couldn't have asked for more. A life to celebrate, not to mourn.
  9. Except when you refereed Newcastle you filthy smoggy twat. Is that a goatee or a face mask? Is that a red card you're holding up or is it your Geiger counter going off the scale? What the fuck were those trainers you had on during Soccer AM, christ Shannon Matthews has classier clobber.
  10. geezaz wet I hear Darren Anderton is available too if we're going down this route.
  11. Mate of mine put a tenner on Reid on Thursday, or said he was going to anyway.
  12. Bearing in mind the PL TV money alone means not gambling in the Jan window isn't really an option. Funny you should say that.... http://www.journallive.co.uk/nufc/nufc-res...61634-22425571/
  13. how good would a 12th place finish be at this stage? you'd take it with bells on tbf. anything for a nice boring mid table finish The gap is there for the first time this season I think. For once a draw can't move us up the table. Portsmouth unbeaten in 4. Doesn't bode well for Sundays trip.
  14. Who said that? I read he was getting £15M. Where was this? Oh, I've got to reveal my sources before you will yours eh? ESPN... http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id...and&cc=5739 I misremembered the amount.
  15. Who said that? I read he was getting £15M.
  16. I think That's the real crux of the stat. 7 draws. No-one else has more than 5.
  17. Only 4 teams have lost fewer home games No-one in the bottom half has lost fewer away games.
  18. Top statting. If a picture paints a thousand words, a good stat can paint a thousand pictures.
  19. I think it's a sickening situation to the extent I'm already contemplating the benefits of going down. The only one I can see is it will get rid of the moaners, and the pricing levels will make it easier for local people. It would be interesting to see how many out of town fans come and watch us in the Championship. There's a thread. A chance of getting the Mackems in the the play-off and redressing the balance. Level 7 closed and the players could actually hear an atmosphere. Craig David would move off St James' doorstep. Chance of competing at the top end of the league. More happy Saturdays than miserable ones. Ameobi might fancy a move. Dishing out cup upsets rather than slipping on bananna skins.
  20. You mean Dennis Wise would become manager?
  21. A small part of me actually looks forward to the day we go down. Saturday afternoon at 3pm every week rather than 8 times a season. More games. A better class of supporter. Jumpers for goalposts...
  22. Aye, not that fast and poor in the air. He's a sweeper and a pretty decent one but those deficiencies mean he'll get caught out at times. Conceding from set pieces has been a major headache as we don't really have anyone commanding in the air at the back. We've got someone who can point out the danger, we just need someone who can actually nip it in the bud.
  23. I understand your point but I think he has been shocked at how crap he is at this business. His complete inability to see Dennis Wise as the fucking liability he is and that when trying to find a manager to replace Keegan all wise could do was call his old mate Joe Kinnear is a fucking joke. If we go down and he keeps control we are fucked. It will be like the 80's again when all we can do is play for middle table championship year in year out. Or best scenario be a yo yo team like the baggies. That would see our gates drop like a lead balloon. I think he will shit himself if he is still in charge at the start of next season and sees how few season tickets are sold. Like it or not people are sick of watching shit week in and week out and we wont fill 52,000 seats in the championship by a long way. Im not sure he has. I reckon he is too stubborn to think he is crap and probably blames other influences. On Wise, how bad has he actually been? Im not sure what he has or hasnt done (factually) to know what influence he has had. I know we signed some canny players, and some shite, and not enough. Was this him? I know we tried to get El Tel before JFK but he wouldnt come due to the temp contract was this him or Lambias? I dont know. Also we dont know who else we tried? I do agree though, if we go down and he keeps control we're fucked. I also agree that the season tickets will be even worse next year. Staying up or not. When you take into account how tight we have been in regards to signing players + contracts this makes (if true) his supposed seven figure salary fucking madness... If he was bringing in top quality for a pittance he'd be worth every penny. The fact that we'll end up paying more than £10M for Gutirez, like we did for Coloccini, and he blew £5M on Xisco makes his record piss poor when compared to Keegan spending £2.5M on Guthrie and Bassong. Was that a joke? You don't think they look like better value? I wonder if Keegan was unhappy with the amount of money being wasted.
