I don't think we'll replace Owen's footballing quality (even accounting for age [although he's not that old]) and injury for £10m, never mind everything else. I just don't think we could get (never mind afford) another "Owen" as the complete package now. "replace" as in buy a striker. Any striker. Unless that's what he sees Xisco as long term.

Ashley threatened with sectioning after worrying outburst

He could improve his offer. There's nothing he'd choose to do. -
What's he done. He's 23 and 7 red cards he's had. Vinnie Jones managed 12 in his whole career.

Dunno. I just googled "Freddy Shepherd" and a plethora of such sites were listed. -

Stevie, you really are a complete embarrassment to your fellow supporters http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/...ier-League.html survey of 2,708 football fans... wow, that is supposed to back up an argument... 2,708??? Canny sample size if done properly. The fact it's an internet poll renders it useless bollocks though. I'd be more concerned that watching their team on TV is supposed to make them the 'best' fans.

Nothing? Is he going to go to City for the prestige or the cash considering the league positions? You'll have to spend £10M to replace him you fat mong. It'd be cheaper to offer him an additional £60K a week on top of his current salary.

He did afford Keegan the same right publicly. He's just a liar. And if he's not a liar he's got it so fucked up it's scary Sam Allardyce was in sole charge of who got signed, but they realised that it was too costly to have a manager do that because of the rebuild costs when he goes, so they reigned in Kevin Keegan and told him they'll supply the players, he just needs to coach them. Now they've realised that's not the way and they've given Joe Kinnear carte blanche. Of the 3 Keegan is the one you'd gladly give your cash to, possibly his greatest ability outside of motivation is to spot someone talented, comfortable on the ball and able to pass and move. His purchases rarely drop in value. But he's the ONLY manager not given control by Ashley. Bloody Allardyce and Kinnear get it to sign blood and guts donkeys across the park. -
That's Anal for 'spot on' round these parts mate.

Rainy Day Owen #12 & 35 Well, he'll Owen ya when you're trying to play so good, He'll Owen ya just like we said he would. He'll Owen ya when you're playing at home. Then he'll Owen ya once again with a broken bone. But I would not feel so all alone, Everybody must get Owened. -

Like a Rolling Stone (Michael Owen) Once upon a time you dressed so fine You threw the bums a dime in your prime, didn't you? People'd call, say, "Beware doll, you're bound to fall" You thought they were all kiddin' you You used to laugh about Everybody that was hangin' out Now you don't talk so loud Now you don't seem so proud About having to be scrounging for your next meal. How does it feel How does it feel To be without a home Like a complete unknown Like Michael Owen? I was going to change the lyrics, but they were apt as they stood. -

Would you like a spoon for that? aye Jimbo, left cheek first please Just heating up some extra virgin olive oil in the pan at the moment, now where did I put the Creme fraiche ? I thought you meant it as a sort of self titilating foreplay to one of your masturbatory marathons. Either way, I want a similarly grotesque promise before Sundays game. It clearly brings us success.

He's 54 now. Mid-table.

Home to the sort of fan that buys Black and White magazine rather than The Mag. Sort of fan that asks you to sit down so they can see.

I like this idea actually, put a relegation release clause of £10m or so in his contract, should keep him happy £10M?? Not a chance. If we're relegated with the fifth highest wage bill in the league we'll not be able to get more than a pack of backy for ANY of them. Leeds got some decent wedge for their players when they went down iirc. Looking at who they sold, they cleared out everyone before they went down. £7M for Smith, £3.6M for Milner, £5M for Kewell and a couple of others. After relegation they let loads go for free (Matteo, Barmby, Harte, Mills, Hignett, Duberry, Deane, Pressman etc). The only person they got anything for was Viduka (£4.5M). Smith was crying on the pitch in the match they went down wasn't he? Edit: Sure we bought Milner in the summer too. Aye, Soccerbase does it odd. Thought they did it by season... True. Bent was only 23 and didn't have a gammy leg like.
