So not only did Ashley pay £2.7M for just 9 games from Xisco on purpose (despite being tight), but now he purposely held back the accounts which show he only spent £5K on transfers....to placate people for not spending in this window. Oh aye, and he's taking our card details and selling them to some Nigerian prince. The conspiracy theories are getting crazy. Understandable given the total silence from the club like. It'll only get sillier.

The cure may well be more damaging than the disease. I'm really not sure we can remain as a Premiership side on a £0 budget, especially as our decline will hit income anyway (never mind everything else going on economically in the UK). At the end of the day there's no fun to be had watching your team lose, so plodding along just making ends meet makes a nothing of a club which even without rose tinted glasses should be a lot better off than they currently find themselves - it's a sad, sad day that we are in this predicament, if there truly is a curse on St James' and the club then surely it's shown it's ugly head to it's full extent now... relegation would just about kill us off totally and utterly. The meeting is after the closure of the transfer window. I think a lot of people will have come off the fence either way by then so I suppose support for a boycott could be a lot greater than last time around.

This is why I don't go to NUSC meetings! peasepud and his incessant management speak! Pud loves Hoisting things up the flagpole to see who salutes. The next home game after the meeting is two and a half weeks later against Everton on Sky. Plenty of time to publicise whatever action is decided on and have it noticed by a wide audience. I'll gladly stay in the pub for it.
