I'd assume the whole Keegan story and associated questions will be off limits what with a case pending. In all seriousness, I'd ask Llambias to justify why it's taken 8 months for him to utter a word on any matter relating to the club whatsoever since taking over.

The Bourne Identity Forgot about the bit where he jumps off the top flight with a corpse to protect his landing. The Greengrass ones are far better. -

Who'd have thunk the True Faith writers were Bergman fans? Nice to see them making a reference outside their usual remit of 20 year old British music.

He was the most embarrassing though wasn't he?

Saw a charver kid getting a blow job on the opposite metro last night. He was grinning like the proverbial cat. I would have mentioned it in the Durham slapper thread but couldn't find it. This seemed as good a place as any.

i didn't know you were into that twee pop schtick quite a fun band tho. not much lasting appeal i found. Oh aye, them, Andrew Bird, The Ditty Bops.... It's all rather jolly. Thought it would stand to reason given my username.

He's hardly shown any great desire to get out of Chelsea reserves in the last four years. Money grubbing twait.
-
I suppose Spurs couldn't justify the mental wages he's invariably on if they had to pay a fee too....and Chelsea will be glad to be rid of such a wage.

We currently have no players who are available to play right back who can actually play it well. I get your point though, but we need cover there for the rest of the season. It doesn't matter how good Beye is, if he's out injured he's not going to help us avoid relegation. He's also getting on in years, so it's only logical that we have some forward thinking there. We're horribly short on for fullbacks, who knows, maybe this bloke can also play on the left. "They were still Germans though but."

On the downside, he's out of contract in the summer. I can't see him leaving if he's told he'll be our No.1, he's waited long enough for it so it would seem silly to leave now unless we're taking the piss with his contract. Alledgedly the offer was half what he's on now. (suspect source mind - another board - friend of a friend type post) I've heard Ashley was on the grassy knoll.

The Boy Least Likely To - The Best Party Ever New album out in March and i've just got my tickets for the gig at the Cluny soon after.

Maybe if Fat Ash had then backed Keegan and only let him walk after 5 years of pushing us forward there'd be a comparison.

Won't bother a few on here.. http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...l=krul&st=0 I'd have been happy with £8M then. But the form he's in this season I'd have hoped for more than £10M. I do think it's a far more dangerous message being sent that we're selling him now and would have been a lot happier to see him away under the summer circumstances.

Ashley is a disgrace if that's true. Not even prepared to spend a single penny on transfers by the looks of it. And what happened to the Milner money? I think the Milner money went in some way to offset the £17.8M spent on Coloccini, Xisco and Guthrie (plus whatever we end up paying for Jonas which is still up in the air).

Ban Fop? Who is he Hannibal Lector, making you choke on your own tongue with his verbal onslaught? It's not like he's doing any harm. ...except for embarrassing himself.
-
There's still a week to go man. We're just waiting for Man City to make their move so we can fleece them and have money to burn... ...though Man City have already moved to spend £30M in this window.

All the talk in the North East says that this is wide of the mark

I dont think he did pay 2.7m with the view not to play him, I think Xisco didnt appear as good as they thought so they're not going to pay more than they have to. Good business sense on one hand yet on the other how can Xisco prove himself otherwise. Swings and roundabouts on that one I do know however that if it is true and hes the only striker we have then he should be played regardless. whether he held them back or not though, the accounts are placating people. Im no accountant at all so have no understanding how long it takes to sort these things out but it has to be said the timing couldnt be better for Ashley. And hes not selling card details to a nigerian prince.................... its an east end geezah. They realised he was rubbish and are trying not to spend anymore money on him till we can get rid in the summer. Why no reserve games? -
