There's plenty of action and great effects, but very little of it is as entertaining as before, they're doing all this expermentation like the Leone or hallucination sequences and forgetting the the derring-do the others had. Have to say, reading it again, a lot of it sounds like he's just trying to ensure he gets a warm welcome whenever he's back in the area. If he was so keen to stay and he was waiting for them to do a couple of things to keep hold of him, and if, like he says, they were dead keen to sell him and get their mits on the cash, if all this was the case, why did he feel the need to put in a transfer request? Can't get my head round that. If that's the case though, he's kicking us when we're down, causing more strife and unrest when there's nothing anyone can do but get on with it and hope the unity is strong enough to keep us up this year. That kind of muck raking that smacks of self preservation isn't sitting well....and I never even blamed him for going.
