Not sure what's confusing you. I've changed the wording because it made Llambias sound accurate, so now it's "Worrying comments made by Llambias that were reported accurately have found their way into the public domain only thanks to the voluntary work being done by the NUSC. " You don't think it's a worrying story that we'll be in debt till 2011 despite the picture they've painted of white knight Mike satisfying all the debt? You don't think it's a worrying story that they only got £5.9M for a keeper they value at £15M? You don't think it's a worrying story that "top, top" managers are knocking on his door but he wants to stick with Kinnear?

Two 'i's in liaison btw Fixed. Cheers.

Just repeating my earlier post basically, but now you can send it to all your friends... http://nufc-ashlies.blogspot.com/2009/03/m...nd-running.html

http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/north-east-...72703-23007850/ Quotes omitted and only reported thanks to NUSC... There's an incredibly clear delineation there between the propaganda and factual/stupid stuff. Good stuff as per HF. You should raise that on his blog comments section. I disagree because all this is achieving is re-visiting old news if you like. The story here is much more to do with how that one bloody email has shot NUSC in the foot. Those are the issues that need addressing (And PP said today that they are). Sure the NUSC committee can come on here and have smoke blown up their arse, but unless they can agree internally to "play the game", they are fucked, pure and simple. That doesn't quite jive with the Llambias quote in the Ryder propaganda piece about transparency between the club and fans.
-
Am I reading too much into this quote.... Seems to me he's saying they don't expect to be here come the end of the season after next.
-
That explains the cocky attitude and the petulant way the email was written then. Also the fact it took a week to write up. I know you're kidding, but Lee Ryder is getting paid to write it up. This Teasdale fella isn't. The chronicle want to take a look at themselves for not reporting impartially what was said at the meeting. Comments Llambias made that Ryder himself admits were reported "accurately" by the NUSC, why has the Chronicle not reported the same quotes in over a week since? Seems to me the NUSC was worth the tenner to get this sort of thing in the public domain alone, if the "journalists" at the meeting didn't think the fans would be interested.

To be fair, it's not an article in the paper, it's a blog post that'll be read by a fraction of Ronnie buyers.

For someone so keen on reporting the truth without spin, it seems odd to say... "a report that has been ridiculed by fans on popular fan website www.newcastle-online.org." When there's plenty of fans arguing with those doing the ridiculing. It'd be nice to see a piece arguing against the points made in the report rather than a character assassination on the man who wrote it. The one thing he refutes from the report is that Llambias arrived with the journalists. That's not really a concern of mine with regards to the goings on at NUFC. If the football side is propaganda, the holes can be picked out of it surely. It'd be a story I'd like to read.

Ferguson: No where in the world has support like Newcastle United

He knows it doesn't make sense to rile the lercals going into a game up here. -
Builders.

If only Derek Llambias and Mike Ashley were as open and responsive to constructive criticism as PP and Mal Shields. If Del Boy came out and said something similar to what PP just has, his personal PR battle might start turning around.

Your post is practical help if you ask me, as such I'd just send it to help@newcastle-united-supporters-club.co.uk

I still think anyone from the east stand is a twat if that's any good to you.
-
Bollox would they. we havent lost a league match to a top four side this year. Including their "full strength side". Added to the fact we didn't have: Woodgate, Defoe, Keane and Palacios. We can give anyone a game on our day as you well know. Man Utd are beatable. Monday, 15 September 2008 Barclays Premier League -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tottenham 1-2 Aston Villa

Here we go Here we go Here we go Here we go This Is It! Proper Alan Partridge Keys was like. Lovely corporate blazer.

I only got to go a couple of seasons before it was all seater. What stuck with me was the away fans hoyed in the pit between the gallowgate and East Stand. I think it was the K section where you could lord it over them and hurl abuse (and anything else you wanted). You don't get wet at the match these days. Nor do you get completeley rat arsed blokes turning their back to the game for long stretches (seemed like they'd miss entire halfs to me at the time but I'm sure they didn't), climbing on one of the crush barrier things and leading the entire Gallowgate for song after song, conducting with their arms waving all over. He'd be asked to sit down now

Film/moving picture show you most recently watched

The Lion King - Thought it was supposed to be a tear jerker. His dead dad didn't even give me a lump in my throat. Enjoyed it. The only other classic Disney I've seen is Aladdin, and I reckon it's better than that. Happy Gilmore - Pretty high laugh quotient. About as sophisticated as Dude Where's My Car? but some genuinely laugh out loud moments. -
The Irish centre wouldn't be happy to lose the trade.

Couldnt agree more. There are better managers out there than KK. None that we could attract though... Top top manager's banging on our door. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source....11055&z=13 Not a football man though.

I think that JK has done at best a decent job, Is the definition for 'decent' from the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary 'fucking shit'?

Is no-one else considering Keegan might be to blame?
Happy Face replied to Happy Face's topic in Newcastle Forum
Nice to know there used to be perspective on here. Goes to show how open minded I was at the time. ...and highlights just how wrong Llambias is when he says it's all just pent up negativity about what happened back then. Have you seen my blog (it's in my sig). For someone who was so fair to them at the height of the "cockney mafia out" protests to be so opposed to them now illustrates the catalogue of errors they've made even after Keegan left. -
There were no questions about Keegan in the report.
-
So he basically put his fingers in his ears and said "nah nah nah, I'm not listening!"
-
We need to stay up and in the summer things will be clearer as we rid ourselves of the big wage boys who are crippling the club and not even available (often) for selection. According to NUSC £17M of the £70M salaries goes on non-playing staff.

I didn't watch the game. Hardly even thought about it. Got texted the result but was neither surprised or disappointed. Just expected it. Watched The Lion King instead of MOTD2. It was a nice weekend.
