Ahhh I see it now! I read somewhere that Vince Gilligan said there will be a minor victory for Walt in the final episode. Those hoping for an ending with a redemption of sorts through the killing of the Nazis, persuading Flynn he did it for the right reasons, getting all the money back to his family before a martyr-like death, etc.: I wouldn't hold your breath. More likely is a way for him to get some money to Holly in the future, like Mike tried to do with his grand daughter. This is Breaking Bad we are talking about, the show with absolutely no moral compass that dictates the trajectory of story lines and resolutions. I really hope they complete it in the same unsentimental way.

I really don't think Walt will have any desire to save Jessie. He part blames him for the death of Hank. He gave the go ahead for him to be killed by Jack. It was only Todd's intervention that saved Jessie. Jessie will get Walt for sure.

Just finished reading Perfume by Patrick Suskind. Was canny, easy read the prose was quite basic but a vivid, imaginative story nonetheless that does well to use scent in the way that a lot of other books use the other senses. Worth a read, if you aren't put off by the odd bit of fucked up creepiness.

Went last month with friends and girlfriend. Had a joint to myself of Blueberry Weed in first cafe. Don't think I've ever been that high in my life, completely stitched myself. Left the cafe soon after and an ambulance drove past with its sirens on. Though the sirens weren't the usual two tone 'nee-naw', the low note was staying the same while the high one kept changing. I fucking shit myself, thought I was going insane until a mate turned to me and said that it sounded like the maddest 80s analog synth he had ever heard. Walking around the city afterwards, all i wanted to do was just kneel on the pavement and let people walk by whilst I laughed at absolutely nothing. Great stuff after coming to terms with how insanely fucked I was, really mellow and not at all paranoia-inducing or owt, just a nice chilled high. Spent the rest of the day in the Rembrandt remastered museum and eating loads of waffles.

It's worth a shot. Cisse just isn't looking anywhere near scoring right now, and his contribution to the team with hold up play and laying it off, chasing things down etc. isn't so unique or vital to the team that it warrants him a first team place without question. I understand the need to be patient with players who are lacking confidence - I'm not an arrogant idiot who just expects players to be able to turn it on when they want. But there comes a point when you need to forsake one player for the sake of the team and results. n.b: Obviously it wasn't Cisse's lack of goals that cost us today. I'd get right on defending in training first thing before anything else.

Fucking wank. Sissoko can't defend imo. Was stood still for their second and too late to catch the runner for the third. Full backs had a shocker. Add to that the complete lack of ideas leads to a shite day. I just don't understand what Pardew said at half time, or rather what he didn't say. His tactics were completely dependent on the hope that they didn't score straight away on the restart, after that, he had no answers. We didn't get back at them and they deserved the third. The resorting to the lofted balls were embarrassing. Don't usually get worked up anymore with Newcastle but jesus, everyone in that dressing room at half time needs to have a look at themselves.

Ball has sometimes been played a yard behind the run which has stopped a bit of fluidity in our game. That said, we have been passing it around in a far more adventurous manner than last season. Would like to see a tiny bit more from Sissoko and quite a bit more from Cisse (though his hold up game has been canny). Definitely think we need another goal to kill the game. Debuchy, down the flanks has looked good at times, but was shite for their goal. Remy's second was a great finish. Reckon we should give them another 15 minutes then make some subs. Tiote to solidify the centre and Cisse for Gouffran, with Remy going in the middle could be an idea?
