Closest thing to a comfortable win for a while. Cabaye MOTM for me like. Ben Arfa looked great coming on; absolutely kicked the players on to getting the third. Thought that the overall setup was brilliant by Pardew. Just out passed them. Mint.

Hopefully not too interesting though...

Good first half. Cabaye been very good. Debuchy and Sissoko great down the right as well. Possession football has worked cracking too. Just hope Pardew goes for a shit at half time and Carver can do the half time team talk. I'd put Ben Arfa on either now or in 10 minutes time as well. This is a game that would do wonders for players with confidence issues.

Couldn't really get into that... Currently on Heaney's last collection Human Chain. Also, re-read Melville's Bartleby, The Scrivener. One of the greatest short stories of all time. Must read for anyone who has ever worked in an office.

Aye Suarez is utterly unplayable atm. Just heard on Gillette Soccer Sat that he has just broken the record for the most PL goals scored in a month.
-
Don't think this will be a stroll at all. That said, if we own the midfield we ought to be fine. 0-2.

The Cardiff/Malkay Mackay/Vincent Tan crack is indicative that football is well and truly broken. What an absolute tit that man is. There is only one man mad enough to take the job after Mackay...

It's not the same but... I decided to go veggie for a month in May this year, purely to see if I felt healthier as I couldn't shake off a cold/flu for about two months prior. I totally underestimated how much I was going to crave meat (Steady on)! A week was fine but by the second sunday when a load of friends went for sunday lunch at a restaurant, it was killing me. Made it through the month though, and to celebrate I got a really greasy chicken kebab when I was wrecked on the weekend - whitied it all up the day after and had the worst stomach ache I've ever had in my life. I haven't eaten meat since and honestly feel loads better for it. It isn't as extreme as going vegan (which I really don't think I could do), but I would say that within a month there are definitely notable health benefits. I've found I don't feel half as lethargic as I used to, which is weird. Not sure if there is actually a scientific explanation behind it... This year's resolution for myself will be to continue the trajectory of the past 4 new years resolutions - reduce daily cigarette intake by one. 5 years ago I was smoking 14 tabs a day. Hit that on the head and brought it down to 9 tabs. Now I'm down to 5, and definitely think I can manage 4 now. Great way to steadily quit I am finding. Also, for those quitting the booze, good luck. Tried to have a sober November in preparation for December. Managed 11 days. Fuck that shit.

+ + Anything decent like Dolcelatte is kind of like Gorgonzola, if that is what you were asking. Rich, blue-veined, soft, quite creamy/absolutely lush. Definitely should get some. Also, that fig chutney from tesco's is really good as well.

Laudrup I reckon.

Dolcelatte with fig chutney. With an alright shiraz.

Berahino's take on the sacking: http://www.sbnation.com/soccer/2013/12/14/5211238/saido-berahino-steve-clarke-sacked I think it's harsh like. They've played some really decent football under him at times. That 2013 record is shit like.

Did anyone watch the Viera/Keane programme on ITV the other day? It's still on ITV player. Definitely worth a watch IMO for anyone interested in a great rivalry that epitomised the Arsenal/Man Utd premier league battles for many years/severe mental instability and an undiagnosed paternal complex (Keane & Fergie). Keane has some proper issues like, can tell he is deep down absolutely devastated about what their relationship has come to. Viera even consoles him (his tongue only halfway in his cheek) at one point: 'I'm sure deep down he (fergie) still loves you'... HEAVY! Good watch anyway.
