  1. Might be a second round by the end of today.
  2. Shocking decision. Do not understand it at all. Why go to the linesman and if he says that he didn't see a deflection, STILL insist that there was one. Awful. Need to calm a few people down like. Sissoko is one mistiming away from a red. No doubt half time will give a chance for Man City to regroup, we will play for 10 minutes then they will get a goal and that will be that. Don't mean to sound like a pessimist but that cunt of a ref...
  3. Negredo is immense like. Fantastic player.
  4. Walcott out for the rest of the season and the world cup. Not the greatest player they have but a massive blow to Arsenal's title challenge that like. And err, for England too as well in their inevitable World Cup conquest.
  5. If the FA was to implement that then they would be opening up the Pandoras box of tackling the huge problematic of financial disparity in football. It'd be much like the anxiety people have about bringing in technology in football: the well-worn cliched question of 'where will it end if we do? Technology for throw in decisions etc?' Only, in respect to considering money inequality however I think that the possibility of a snowball effect would be far too dangerous for the FA to ever truly consider on a large scale. I think we are too far gone to address this in a practical sense of restructuring football's finance unfortunately.
  6. Perhaps. I was only thinking of how it could equalise squad sizes. To be totally honest I think that the FA cup will never be the same as what it was simply because the game is not what it was. A Champions League place or extra points toward the league could slightly rejuvenate it, however ultimately the final incentive of those two perks is money. Unless there was a real fiscal bonus to winning the FA cup then we will continue to see what we have seen in many premier league clubs this weekend. A fucking grim reality if you ask me and indicative of where football is going.
  7. Don't know the answer to those questions but I'd personally like to see a limited squad submission rule to stop the big clubs playing reserves/very young players in first few rounds and then their full strength first team in the latter stages (if they happen to get there and decide all of a sudden that they would like to win it). Would be harder to implement than think about I suppose.
  8. That is terrible by Pardew if he did say that. An arrogance beyond measurement, to blame your managerial inadequacies/club's dismissive stance on domestic cups on the supporters you have repeatedly let down year after year in the FA cup.
  9. Aye he seems like a right knob. Give it a couple of months, wouldn't be surprised if he found himself way in over his head.
  10. Good goal by Carzola. Would have been up earlier if Walcott had passed when he was one on one. Wilshire getting wound up by the Spurs players He's the personification of little man syndrome.
  11. Mediocrity it is again, then...
  12. I've heard it quite a bit this week, but, why do the West Ham fans apparently dislike Nolan?
  13. Did we decide not to make attacking headers today btw? Gouffran, Williamson and Shola all had excellent opportunities to attack the ball with their head in and around the 6 yard box. Every one of them bottled it.
  14. Tiote needs to calm down a bit. Doing well in unsettling them but if he gets a booking you know that they will be looking to wind him up.
  15. Not my own: Phil Brown is favourite for the Cardiff job... He seems the only manager prepared to work with a ridiculous tan.
  16. Oh no wait, Tan actually was booing: http://www.sbnation.com/soccer/2013/12/28/5251294/vincent-tan-boos-cardiff-sunderland Fucking hell.
  17. Boo Boy? Or just really really sad?
  18. They'll go for someone else in the summer if they don't do that well I reckon. Really enjoyable to see Levy getting a bit of jip off the spurs fans. Ever since he got rid of Jol in that weird, underhand way and replaced him with Ramos, I've thought he's a bit of a cretin.
  19. Arsenal Chelski one of the most boring games of football this year. Arteta and Rosisky are nowt special at all imo. The former had a shocker.
