Van der Meyde is on the brink of Everton move
Inter Milan's Dutch international winger Andy van der Meyde will undergo a medical at Everton on Friday.
Everton officials flew to Milan after the Champions League clash with Villarreal to thrash out a £2m deal.
If the move goes through, it completes a 12-month pursuit from Everton boss David Moyes after Van der Meyde rejected an approach last summer.
Van der Meyde wants regular action to ensure he stays in Holland's squad ahead of the World Cup.
Everton boss David Moyes said: "Van der Meyde is coming in for a medical and we will see how it goes. Hopefully the clubs can agree a fee."

Whats been happening in the last 2 weeks. Just got back from Manchester Airport no jet lag, abit weird after going for 5 weeks. Bit disappointed with the results anything else ain't really had time to check on the news. Why didn't Emre play last game? And any news on Luque?? Pissing myself reading a few of them.
One recently me my sister and my mam was talking in the living room with my uncle and auntie. I was watching telly and my mum and sister must have been having a debate over something. After a while my sister gets up off the sofa making a point in a loud burst over something takes about 2 steps to the bathroom and trips over something and makes the most hilarious trip. I'm pissing myself just thinking of it.
