  4. http://www.nufc.com/html/telegraph_stonehouse.html mike ashley isnt the rich benefactor we,d hoped for but for those quoting the ambition of previous owners makes this an interesting read

  7. 4 assault charges and drink driving still outstanding? dont mind the puff thing wonder if theyd be charged if they tweeted they were popping to the pakis?
  8. they do chocolate covered hobnobs now
  9. in all honesty I think you would have to say yes , wages vs income near or lower than 65% , getting concrete details is harder now but player trading must be a purely profit creating thing unless he,s paying off what we owe him. reading the portsmouth position on sky sports they were reporting a year in the premiership equivelant to 45 million, our first year back in prem with a 12th placed finish netted 88.5m income, anyway, profit? undoubtedly
  10. If this doesn't demonstrate your idiocy I don't know what will... Wtf? completely agree with cabayeayeayeaye, idiocy in regards to what point? although I wouldnt put any stock in perch vs abeid
  11. apart from the 150 or whatever owed to fat mike I thought this was the objective, club making profit (definately) income vs outgoings a positive now but for who remains the question
  12. poisonus ad nauseum, thread destroying repetitve bullshit, ive forgot what this threads about whoops
  13. exactly, balance is not a difficult concept
  14. smith going would be a positive step surely, freeing up 50grand+ in wages
  15. portsmouth may supposedly be unable to complete their season fixtures according to sky news and the former owner getting the parachute payments is a joke surely since he left, the second year parachute payment should have went to the club. wonder if this could become a more regular occurance or will the fifa financial fair play rules bring balance to the force?
  16. quite simply Craig, I don't view hoping NUFC set up their ambitions and try to behave like Liverpool, rather than the likes of Birmingham, Bolton, Blackburn as a parody, a negative or anything of that nature. In fact I think its as positive as its possible to be and if someone tells me to fuck off I'm quite entitled to tell them the same ? Shame this thread has gone in this direction, I still think the whole point of it is nothing more than sour grapes and a refusal to accept the truth of the situation. Carroll has made a good career move, which is why he moved, and he's got a winners medal to show for it and he's playing for a club that NUFC ought be aspiring to be like. As for any "overprice" they paid for Carroll, they also got too much for Torres, and simply re-invested the money. If Carroll moves, they will make a loss but they will still back the manager with the money from the sale. Other players they buy will improve the team and increase in value, swings and roundabouts but at the end of the day, they signal their intent and make themselves an attractive club and increase the chances of more success as a result. It's absolutely staggering that NUFC supporters are mocking such an approach. This post makes a hell of a lot of sense especially the carroll move, investment of torres cash, cant see how anyone can argue with any of that
  17. we are in fucking 5th how can anybody argue with that? 5TH

  20. santon right back and raylor left again , I,d like that but who,d be right wing? , simpson is a decent squad player and if that happened his contract negotions could get muddled
  21. I take it you didnt see his performance today? Why just single out Ben Arfa? not really singling out ben arfa, as mentioned , simpson and williamson are weak links
