So was the right wing. Bot off dickhead. Milner has been one of our best players for months now. saying it twice doesnt make it anymore true I'm hoping he's on the windup. I'm by no means a fan of Milner, but he's been quality this season. No wind up. If your definition of 'quality' is Milner's performances this season then I can only assume you didnt see Solano, Ginola, Robert etc in their prime. The only similarity between the players above and Milner is that they all have 2 legs. He is still nowhere near the level of performance of a young Keith Gillespie. Not good enough. Nowhere near in fact. Sorry to upset the applecart on this one but its been obvious to see for too long now that the kid isnt up to the level we should be aspiring to be at. His performance yesterday was abysmal by the way. His crossing was indicative of his time at Newcastle. He is young but he should have learnt the basics by now. The lad worked very hard defensively and put an excellent left footed cross in from the right that could have easily been a goal if it was anybody else than Pattison at the far post. If a winger puts in at least one exceptional, potentially matchwinning cross and spends most of his time helping out a makeshift defense to ensure we get the three points you can't say he didn't put in at least an ok performance.. I can see where you are coming from but putting one decent cross in(and it was very little better than that) out of the countless attempts he had is a very poor return in my book. Some of his passing crossing was amateur. Hardly the first time either is it?

Who said anything about Luque? He doesnt play. Rightly so. I get tired of kids harping on about players 'working their balls off' when a decent player does that AND has talent. Nobody denies that they try hard. However, they simply dont have the talent or the pace to cope. We should have better and yesterday was just another example of why that is the case. If you cant see that then unlucky.

I love that one. Football fans and a double negative. -
I do. Mostly those players not good enough. If they dont have the talent for the job then they shouldnt be here unless its a short term fix. Ramage, Milner etc will never be good enough. Still very dubious about Taylor but he is a level above those two. Good for you if you rate him that highly but I have seen many a kid come and go from Newcastle and he simply doesnt have it. I'll be surprised and moreover very disappointed if he is in the first team in the 2007/8 season as anything other than a stopgap. There is a good reason he was farmed out. Remember that.

I used to live in Newmarket and he was often about in the pub having a quiet pint. Nice fella. He is just one of those fellas who doesnt take himself too seriously. Very good finisher.

When Malbranc passed to Defoe, Defoe WAS offside - but, had Taylor stepped up for the original pass over the top then Malbranc would very likely have been offside. FACT Very true tbh. I mentioned this earlier in the month. Taylor doesnt hold a very good line and does tend to drop back a bit
-
Excellent WUMery. Excellently accurate mate. Played two yards behind the offside line for both their goals 100% FACT He does tend to do that as well as star jumps but I cant blame him on this occasion. You are right in noting his penchant for it though. Something he needs to cut out for certain.

Out of it totally the kid, overweight and can't pass piss & wobbles like a weeble Going by the commentaor's mention of names during the plays you'd have thought Pattison wasn't even there, I think his name was mentioned once in the second half. He just hasn't got it! To be fair watching it on TV you would have seen he did more of a defensive job. I think he was asked to double up with Hunty on Chimpbonda and Lennon Defensively he was sound. He wasnt required to go forward. Milner was shocking but even he did his job at the back. Milner was hungry for the ball and wanted it more than Pattison did,as when pattison recieves it it's like holding a hot potatoe,he looks really under pressure when it's at his feet,ok he is trying to make his mark in the game, but!not for me he won't!He's an overweight liability and we were very lucky this time.Loosing those shoulders and relax a bit Matty son. Hungry for the ball. Who the fuck are you? John Motson? He did fuck all with it thats the problem. He worked and i will credit him for that but he simply isnt good enough if we aspire to be a top club. In the meantime if he could buy some soap and learn to cross a ball I would be happier.

Telling the same joke every day becomes a bit tiresome. Full marks to yourself for perserverance though
-
Laughable, honestly. Huffed and puffed but did very little tbh. Did well in the last ten minutes with the defense but in an attacking sense he was a waste of space. Nonsense tbh Get back to N-O

Given 9 - Good game Solano 9 - Outstanding Taylor 8 - Did very well Ramage 7 - Did well Hunty 7 Did well and the booting of Lennon was important Milner 5 - Shocking but at least he came for the ball before booting it in the stand Butt 9 - MOTM. Outstanding Pattison 6 - Defensively he did well Dyer 9 - Excellent Le Sib 7 - Defensively he was very important and kept battling Martins 8 - Quiet then turned the game around
-
Butt and Dyer were excellent. Both going forward and defensively they were brilliant. The goal from Martins is the hardest shot i have seen since Shearers against Leicester. Well done him.

http://www.live-footy.org/sun14.1/Tottenham_Newcastle5.html Chose to download TVU player and it's been smooth. Oh and gram, I know his crossing has always been inconsistent, but in general it's improving, and it should keep imporving. He's young after all. Its been perfectly consistent today. Believe me

I love how Milner has to do very little to be considered "not good enough" - regardless of whather he is our future right-winger, he's played really well recently, so give him credit. Bollocks. He is piss poor and showing it again today. Yup he was rubbish against Man Utd. Your nan would have scored that goal with that amount of power easily. And he was rubbish also last week against Birmingham City despite making the first goal, and being involved with pretty much everything good we did. Thats it then. The fucker is Garrincha Of course they aren't the only examples. He's had an all round very good season so far. Lack of pace will always be a problem, but his crossing seems to be improving, and should do as he matures more. He's only 20 after all. Are we watching the same game? Its been appalling.
-
He's comming Deep to get the ball otherwise he won't be seeing any ball at all. Le sib and pattison have been our worst players so far both very ineffective. I'd be tempted to put o'brien on the left move pattison from LW to his propper position CM . Fuck me Chimbonda's slapped Butt in front of the linesman . Butt rightly pushed him back. Butt's booked Ref trying to get to Chimbonda who's having a go at fans ..now its going off in the tunnel!! Chimbonda should be sent off!!! Slapped Butt right in front of the linesman!!! Should be Red however think it'll be yellow as that's the card he's holding! He is shite there too. Milner has been quite comfortably the least effective. The lad needs to learn to cross a ball if he wants to be a Premiership footballer. The spotty fucker irritates the shit out of me. Not good enough. Modern day John Cornwall.

Anyone who thinks Milner is the long term answer to our right hand side needs their head looking at. Not good enough.

Who do you speak for by saying sorry? Delima is a Middlesbrough fan, a fact established by me prior to the UEFA Cup Final, but he's right about David Jones, class player. Billy Davies said he's the most gifted player he's managed, fair enough he's only managed Preston and Motherwell players, but quite a compliment for a 20 year old. I am also a Mackem and a yank. And a Keegan Bandwagon Jumper lest you forget ... You forgot clueless and full of shit.
