  1. It was a good pass but much like Andy Gray you are going way over the top as to how good it was. I don't think so. Only good players see things so quickly and play it so perfectly. Like Martins defence splitting pass to set up Butt's goal against Spurs? Well, when Martins almost single handedly converts a mid table team to one who qualifies for the Champions League, then you can substantiate your point with more substance. Although I obviously hope he does, he hasn't just yet. Which almoot, single handedly dinmantles your position of self-appointed authority on football. Gary Speed? Alan Shearer? Nolberto Solano?, Bobby Robson? Football being a TEAM game. You do sound incredibly dimwitted. Did you ever play football at a decent standard? I did you have had a chance to show you know more about Newcastle United than me, but if I remember correctly, you didn't get involved in attempting to do so. How incredibly stupid, just like an idealistic and stupid schoolteacher. If you look through the records - as your statement makes me doubt you witnessed these seasons - prior to Bobby Robson buying Bellamy and Robert, we were a mid table side, struggling to get behind defences and looking like a team miles away from the one of a few years earlier, despite playing ALL those players you mention. In come Robert and Bellamy, and an immediate change in the teams style, momentum, adding pace and penetration to their play, and positions of 4th, 3rd and 5th. Bellamy was by far the biggest influence on the general play and improvement in the pattern of play, despite Roberts stats, who went missing in quite a lot of games, even though he - also - produced on many occasions when it mattered. You can believe this if you like, as it appears you weren't there. Most people who WERE, don't dispute this. Now you can go back to your classroom and teach whatever bollocks you think you teach, but I hope it isn't football, nor do I hope you make things up to suit yourself. Lastly - as you appear to think that knowledge is dependant on the level you played the game, despite knowing nothing about me, I don't expect to see you criticising any Newcastle player, the manager, or coaching staff in future, unless you yourself are an ex professional player who played for NUFC, or higher, which is more likely than in recent years, if you did this when we had a shit board pre-1992. bump --- for the schoolteacher to answer at playtime ........ You didnt answer the question did you? dipshit, attempting to avoid responding to comments thats he's clipped .......... haha.......what a knacker. Not surprised at your - nothing - response BTW. Its a lllllllllloooooooonnnnngggggggg playtime today Answer the question Leazes!
  2. you aren't aware that a previous Newcastle chairman decided to sell Gazza, Beardsley and Waddle are you Isn't it the manager that buys and sells players? Ask Gary Speed that one I would rather ask you what I have already asked you, which you can't reply, which you keep avoiding. Can't you find a few minutes at playtime I have been to a funeral, pleb. Answer the question asked and you will get your reply. I have answered this before, dipshit. You however, left the previous and earlier question unanswered. If you think you know more than me, prove it. In playtime, if you must. You havent. Its your turn first retard!

  9. As I said, shame our previous worthy directors - who were just as good as their successors - didn't appoint him when he was in his prime. He obviously just didn't fall into their laps as a stroke of luck. Noelie will perhaps cast his experienced and knowledgeable eye in at this point and englighten us .. Current board are average. Is that what we aspire to? You sound shit scared of change Leazes. Don't be dense enough to think you were the only one to witness Westwood or McGarry's reigns. You weren't. If you are content with this lot then God bless you. The rest of us will acknowledge their strengths and not try to bullshit people who see their weaknesses. Change is inevitable. The dodgy factor in this is that Fred has a significant say in who takes over. Given his choices of men to put in charge - and you must take into account that it isn't just managers who have been given posts of responsibility e.g David Stonehouse - that fills me with trepidation. His heart is in the right place. His lack of foresight certainly, however, is staggering at times. I must remind you that his decision to tell the media before Bobby that he was going, and its impact - led to......Souness!
  10. enlighten us I was at that game and the tale as told by Leazes (who blatantly wasnt) is that PB was sucking off half the Kop. In fact he acknowledged their support for him - in much the way Kluivert acknowledged us when we showed our appreciation of him at SJP in his Barcalona days.It was reported on but no big deal. Beardsley was the only one of the three applauded on his return with his new team. Shows you how much that incident mattered to most. Forgot to say, Souness bullied him too.

    Graphics help

    Ta. Much appreciated.
  12. I simply dont get the love of him. He was good but a country mile away from great. Liverpool fans dont exactly think the world of him do they? They know his standard and allow really good players like Gerrard to piss them about. but Bellamy? Not gonna happen is it? If he was Waddle, Beardsley, Gazza or Shearer standard at the same point in their careers then I would have a little more regard for him. However, he simply isnt in that league. Or anywhere near it. Terry McDermott was a far better player at his age but I doubt Bellamy would agree with that. He'll never learn. Mainly cos he has very little control over his own ego and temperament.
  13. I'm in a band doing a charity gig for a lass who had her eye glassed at out last gig. Long story..... Anyway, this gig has sold out and radio, local Barnsley papers are going to do a review of it. She wants some posters put up with vaguely Lambretta style lettering - we play mostly Northern Soul and at Scooter rallies/clubs. Anyway, I am clueless with graphics but I can get my hands on most software. Any ideas how to get a basic Lambretta style lettering done? Or is it gonna be Photoshop and draw it out? I'm a spanner with Graphics so any help appreciated. Ta.
  14. Leazes is denial over on N-O I reckon. Baggio asked him why he hadnt commented on it. He couldnt give a toss about Bellamy braying someone with a golfclub. He'd have him back like shot.
  15. No smoke without fire Do you reckon the club rules include : No player shall take a nine iron to the legs of a teammate.

Stupid sod. He's only a kid aswell. Welsh though
  17. Well its not just British Law. Ariel Sharon should have been banged up years ago for his part in the Sabra Shatila massacre. He got off with it on a technicality cos he wasnt in Belgium. Amazing. That he later led the country tells you all you need to know about politics and the law.
  18. Not sure LM would agree with that Joe! He's been to more games than you aswell....
  19. Can't be true, Bellamy can't even beat up 18 year old girls. He's a vindictive little dwavf with a twisted personality and vile temperament, but it'd be like getting "mauled" by a Pomeranian. not that I know what he's like either way, but presuming you haven't met him and are only going on what you have read in the tabloids, would you be happy for someone you've never met talk about you like that? Well I'm not a dwarf for a start so they'd be completely wrong about that. Personally I couldn't careless what people I don't know say or think about me, nor can I see why anyone would, so I don't really see your point, but IF I did care then I guess I wouldn't act in the way he does. As for proof of his character, there's not only being all the fights and scraps and trouble he's been into (tbh I think he only got of that latest night club assault charge - his what 3rd or is it 4th assault charge now - because of the imbalance of expensive lawyers vs legal aid muppets - and he only got off the assault charge from what he said in court that he said to the slappers in question is more than enough to underline his character), but also all the times he's got into trouble on the pitch. If he wasn't a footballer he'd probably be in prison for beating up some woman or other. If you want believe he's a good lad, ok that's your choice..... but I tell you what send me £5,000 and I'll send it back within a month with it doubled, honest. Like I said, I don't whether he is a good lad or not, I'd be prepared to use the old analogy 'mud sticks' and not like myself for thinking it, but it's unfortunately human nature. My point is I wouldn't have used those words about someone I had never met, based purely on media coverage or he said/she said allegations. If the roles were reversed, I don't believe for one minute you 'couldn't care less what people I don't know say or think about me' given the wording above. Think he lost the right to people being decent about him when he started belting women tbh The old "with rights, come responsibilities" line comes to mind.
  20. Can't be true, Bellamy can't even beat up 18 year old girls. Whats your opinion of Robert Mugabe? random....are you trying to compare Bellamy to Mugabe? Nah, just pointing out that he is a Grade A twat. Never met him, but pretty sure his track record says he is. The weight of evidence being quite equal.... Nobody said it was equal. The point is that there are lots of people we don't know personally but it doesnt take much conclude they are cunts. Usually its their actions that sway you. I was commenting specifically on the wording used. Seems unseemingly strong for someone I again presume he's never met. Like I say, I don't claim to know what he's like either way. The point is that you don't need to meet and converse with people to know what they are like. Actions speak louder than words and all. Nb: Just to clarify my position on this - Bellamy is a twat in my view and I have never met him.
