I tend to just go down to the Howard next to the train station Renton. Its alright and not far from the ground. Other than that there are some decent bars in town. Depends what you want. The Frog and Parrot is a good pub as is the Washington but they are away from the ground. Usual stuff like Aussie bars etc are on West Street, Devision Street. I tend to avoid that sort of pub though.

Probably spot on apart from Leazes seems to have disappeared since even he realised that he had made a bit of an arse of himself. You are right though, Shepherds lack of foresight is staggering. On 3 occasions he has reacted to a situation and employed men who clearly werent up to the job. On one occasion Bobby was about and got him out of the shit. Why not plan the next appointment? You would think he would learn. Nobody suggests it is easy to find a good manager but its a good deal easier if you are actually looking.

Well i went to VersusCancer on Friday in Manchester and it was among the best gigs I have seen. All the bands and artists were very good anyway but there was quite a few who just got up and did stuff together. Mani and Ian Brown, Andy Rourke and Paul Ryder did I am the Resurrection Noel Gallagher and Andy Rourke did There is a Light Gallagher and Weller did Butterfly Collector Charlatans and Weller did Town Called Malice Bunnymen and Peter Hook did Ceremony I was rat arsed and got to sleep about 9am. Well worth it and fine night in Manc was had by me! 40 quid well spent and no camping involved at all!

The fact that you put Milner in as one you have time for says everything you need to know about the state of the club. He's one of very few that you can ALWAYS rely on to give 100%. Quite what he's done in recent weeks to find himself on the bench I have no idea. The fact that it's to accomodate that fat turd Stephen Carr at right back is a fucking disgrace.
