Well the way it stands we're going to have one central defender (Taylor) left at the end of the season. Can we really afford to bring in three centre backs, a right back, a left back, and another striker? And we also seem to be crying out for some creativity in centre midfield. In an ideal world Bramble should be shown the door, but this isn't an ideal world. Yeah but that would mean offering him a new contract, possibly meaning he'd be here for several more years, which would be a nightmare. And I highly doubt he's on a pittance either. I'd much rather we go for the Gooch than risk keeping Bramble. I'd much rather we bought a left back, right back 3 centre halves, one central midfielder, a right winger and sorted out the Guinness in the Leazes.

Must say that I would like to see a Man Utd vs Chelsea final just because of the managers. Both top class. Couldnt tolerate the tramps going through. Not keen on Milan either.

Bramble isnt good enough for regular first team football. Not entirely convinced Taylor is either. He is having a decent run right now but still likely to fuck up. Stephen Caldwell is a far better footballer than Ramage and he has ended up at Burnley. I'd keep Bramble as back up. I can see Bramble being like the Kenny Wharton situation. We kepy buying players to replace him and 10 years later he was still there.

Paid for my dinner at work today and a jonny fell out of my wallet in front of the kids. That amused them. Similarlarly, I tried to pay for a drink at a VIP function in the Hallam FM with the same jonny a few weeks ago. The lass behind the bar wasnt having nay of it, sadly. Nb: The jonny has been there for about 9 months and was given to me by a large lady prison warder in the lake district. She was putting them over her head.

If the papers normalise racism, and in the last few years it is a growing trend, then many of them may well have just realised that they are racist arseholes. Thats my thought. Poverty, intimidation and crime have always existed. I cant see its any better or worse now than it was. Maybe just a little more obvious with changes in technology shoing it every few minutes. Good old South Yorkshire. Quite a few people have their BNP posters in their windows down here. Can't honestly believe that people vote for them. I played at the Doll and it was a great music venue. Bit rough at quieter times but still friendly enough. Loved the Riverside for live music. Mayfair was ok, saw the likes of the Smiths and New Order there and it was fine. Doesnt appear to be many places catering for that stuff in the same way it was done then. Could be wrong - I've been away over a decade

Apprently I pissed in my mates babies pram the other week. His missus rang me up complaining about it. I have variously pissed in cupboards etc so no great surprise. I still reckon it was him though. He has a fair history of pissing the bed when we are on holiday etc. One remains unexplained - we went to some lasses house and everyone eventually fell asleep. Next morning she was moaning that one of us had pissed in a box containing her posh new shoes. They blamed him, he blamed me etc No idea at all. All good fun
