Fuck me, if you're posh I'm royalty. If Leeds is great, Newcastle is utopia

Gemmill When we appointed Roeder I posted in various places that it felt like an opportunity missed to really get someone decent in. At least I had the sense to realise a long time ago that he needed to go - until a week or so ago you wanted him here next season. Wasnt HF's original point that appointing Allardyce will be repeating the same mistake?? Missed opp to get someone decent? A meringue? Maybe, but then he made the mistake of saying that Allardyce was no better a manager than Roeder, which is quite clearly bollocks. Talksport news headline just said Sam IS the man! Fuck knows, could be gossip again.

Bobby Moncur wants Big Sam to chin the players
gram replied to Smooth Operator's topic in Newcastle Forum
Apart from the fact that Big Sam has a much better managerial record on paper. Souness won a few trophies with very good teams that he then took on to underachieve big style. Allardyce, although lacking on the trophy front has taken Bolton from the first division to top half Premiership finishers. So did Souness at Blackburn tbh -
Load of shite. Sheffield is a far safer and better night out than Leeds. Anyway you could go to the Boardwalk, DnR bar, Devonshire Cat for decent beer. All friendly. The Howard is never any bother and is next to the train station and about 5mins walk from the Leadmill. The club nights are usually very good in the Leadmill too. You usually get in 'free' after a gig. Plenty of students about too! Cheers man i might have a look, Do you know what time gigs in the leadmill usually finish? don't listen, he's lying nasty fat hobbit Ignore Fish, T-Keith. Remember he thinks both he and Leeds are posh

The gigs finish between 10:30 and 11 usually then the club nights start. Plenty of places about. The Globe just up from the Howard is canny aswell and you get student discount at the bar.

Liverpool play the dullest football out of the top 4 in my view but they do well. I am not too fussed how we play as long as its one with a winning mentality. The stereotypes Oliver comes out with are cringeworthy but they arent the reason we havent won anything. Shit boards pre-1992, some dodgy managerial appointments and decisions are the real reason. Some misfortune too it must be said. I will watch us play anything as long as we score the odd goal more than the opposition. Fed up with people giving us this misguided preconception of what we all want. I just want to see us win something without having to be fawning of players who couldnt kick the arse of some of the real top players we have had. We ended up doing well with Bobby and that was nice, however, we won fuck all. Other than Keegan the rest have been shite. If we play shite football and win fuck all it will be harder to take. If we play shite football and we win then you wont see many people complaining.

Absolutely fucking HATE that. 1 just watched Harsh Times and got annoyed with the girl tryign to talk through it, despite me warning her I was going to watch it tonight and that she probably wouldn't want to watch it and that I really would be no company for the 2 and a bit hours it's on for. 2 got told off for being "stroppy" for telling her to shut the fuck up 3 My best mate is horrendously drunk and upset and breaking up with his girlfriend but he's in London and I can't get down there to help him out. 4 Watched Spiderman 3 today... it was ... UBER cheesey in parts but not bad overall. 5 tried to make a curry from scratch today and it was a fucking shambles. you and leazes need some time together

Any gays here? Is that normal after your first Banana? Welcome to my world.

As players, Keane and Bellamy were light years apart. You can out up with Keane 'cos he was exceptional. Bellany wasnt and never will be.

weekend starts tomorrow night for me. I'm off out with a lovely nurse i met recently. Bit posh but very nice. Then training day at work on Friday - 8 til 1. Out friday for a few, then my mates wedding on saturday. should be fun. Have to do some work on sunday though. Then rehearsal with the band on the night and back to work.

Ok then. I prefer Gazza to McClen, put it that way. Gazza was never lazier than McClen!
-
I just ont think Milner or Taylor deserve the plaudits they get. Very average players who try hard do nowt for me. Prefer Laurent Robert to Milner - put it that way.
-
He needs to tbh Nb: I would happily end up with foreign nancy boys like Carvalho, Toure, Agger, Vidic......

Do you realise the age of these players? With proper coaching they can have a very positive future at the club. Not their fault that it seems that the coaching they have to put up with is sub-standard What do you know about the coaching set up at the club? I have no idea as I am not party to it and neither are you! Its just a convenient comment to back up an argument. The tools have to be there to be worked with and Taylors brain and Milners legs will always let them down. If we settle for this type of player as the future of the club then we settle for mediocrity.
-
I think you need a shake lad. Nope. Neither are top standard. I will guarantee Milner never will be. Taylor is still very shaky at times and has had some very dodgy moments this season. Would any of the top four covet Milner? Not a cat in hells chance. He struggles at U21 level. Taylor? Doubt it. He isnt fit to kick Wes Browns arse never mind the likes of Woodgate et al. Steve Howey was a far better centre half as a kid than Taylor is ever likely to be. I have seen top class young footballers coming through at the club - Beardsley, Waddle and Gazza played an altogether different game to these kids. This type of footballer is NOT what we should be building a side around. Good attitude, average ability = mid-table. If you honestly believe these kids are anything other than half-decent squad players with a good attitude then I am afraid you are deluding yourself. Depends on what your ambition is I guess.

Spent 70 quid on champagne for them when their bairn was born. Canny stuff aswell. They do like wine and the like so i will try and get a few bottles of the stuff suggested. Cheers for your help all.

Neither Milner nor N'Zogbia are the standard we need at the club. N'Zogbia has shown some promise but nowhere near the quality to justify the hype that surrounds him. Its a sad day when the likes of Taylor, Milner and N'Zogbia are being touted as the future of our club. How much further are we going to sink? We can blame Roeder for N'Zogbia but it just doesnt fully add up. He was awful pre-season and little better in the games he started since. His attitude stinks and he wants away. For what reason? No idea. However, Roeder is usually very good at giving the kids a chance as can be seen by his use of the other two. Said it since Bobby's day - the club needs shaking up from the top down.

I prefer guitarists who write for the song. Got no time whatsoever for the widdlers of the world. Got taught by a fella in Newmarket a few years ago and he was astonishingly good. He was a Rockabilly player from Canada and I learnt so much from him. Sadly, I am nowhere near his standard. Really enjoy the rockabilly stuff from people like Scotty Moore. Still think the hardest stuff to play is country music. Johnny Hiland is technically exceptional. John Martyn was a genius and Bert Jansch is very good indeed. Never beat Marr or Mick Jones though!

Anyone but those ugly talking tramps. Be amusing to see Man Utd hammer the bastards or Gary Neville take the winning penalty in the final

Shite football to watch though. Not that ours is very good like.
