Who will be King Kev's 1st signing?
Andrew replied to newcastleunited&proud's topic in Newcastle Forum
Berbatov only 12-1 Suppose he did grow up a Keegan-era Toon fan. I know it's unlikely but it would be so perfect, I have a spurs fan mate and live with 2 united fans who basically refer to berbatov as one of their own players the bragging rights alone would be worth it -
how are we actually set up for this game, I've got it on the radio but missed the lineup etc

that'd have more of an effect then you seem to think our defence is under it all the time due to our shocking inability to keep possesion in midfield -
I feel the same and I've got to say it's a move of absolute genius, keegan will get the fans pumped up and that will translate to the team, he's not got long to get new players in this month so he's working pretty much with what he already has so the fans backing will be even more important
-
I think right now a bit of knowledge and the ability to get the team fired up would serve us better this season at least, not much time left in jan to get new players in so whoever comes is going to be working with pretty much what he has when he gets here
-
I say we judge him on youtube videos http://youtube.com/watch?v=JaGo7JYXNlw I like him
-
I'm going to be watching in a bar in manchester with my mate who's a united fan
-
With all the excitement how did people miss this gem? I go for that all the excitement got in the way the rumours about us are sort of dead now aren't they
-
Exactly my thoughts, he'd be a good choice but hes no mourinho I just can't see why people think mourinho is coming here when AC milan haven't won at home this season and are doing shite, the job is pretty much there for him to take but people still expect him to come here
-
I'd go for a positive response but not one quite as enthusiatic
-
So because of this you think he should take the job even if he really doesn't want it? you're putting words in my mouth, now we're going to get another manager who, if they don't instantly do well, will get sacked because Shearer is going to return and win the league the fa cup and the champions league (even thought we're not in it) in one season and everything will be alright I don't think we're ever going to have stability until he's had his turn so, as I said, I'd rather him come in sooner rather than later and get it over with
-
I'm a bit annoyed at that actually, I don't think we're ever going to go anywhere until shearer has had his go as manager and I'd really rather that be sooner rather than later
-
easy but still 100% correct
-
good theory. For some reason I cannot see ashley splashing the megabucks on a new manager. neither can I, I can see the system something along the lines of manager giving mort a list of names and then him sorting it out with what ashley makes available
-
Also Add to Gutted with list: Hughes Redknapp Mclaren Moyes Jesus wept this is gonna be a nerve racking wait..early "quotes" about British not foreign is very very worrying, lets hope its SSN shite. why the hughes hate?
-
I work with a Blackburn fan who reckons its common knowledge he's being groomed for Man U. I've been talking to one who reckons he's coming to us
-
It was easy enough for the corrupt Thai and the Randy Lerner. who did they sack, pearce who was clearly going no where and david O'leary who'd been around for a few years kinda missed my point there didn't you?
-
I think it's more along the lines of that sam was never ashley's man but he couldn't sack him when he'd been boss for about a month or whatever it was, needed some shit results etc before he could
-
+1, it'll either work great or get the "everything will be ok once shearer is manager" stupidity out of everyone's system and let us get on with sorting the club out
-
You can't get good ones over here
-
I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask for a source
-
depends entirely on your position, up front and out wide pace is much more important than in the middle
