What will happen if News Corp hit financial trouble?
Andrew replied to Park Life's topic in Newcastle Forum
So basically, the pre Halls and Shepherd era was better....is that what you're saying?? glad you put the smiley............. Better safe than sorry in our happy little corner of the internets. even the bloke you chose your username from is better than most of this fuckin lot tbf his previous username would have been more use than this lot -
...it might have if you'd been raped though. The "PC brigade" is a media invention btw. There isn't a group of people who all think the same with a little membership card and a badge. People have different views and some are ridiculous (like "personhole cover") and some are absolutely fair (don't throw bananas at black players while making monkey noises). That's a fair point. I don't like the phrase as it seems like a new thing so it retains its original meaning to me, whereas "murdered" is something that's been in use for as long as I can remember. You're right though. there isnt a they either you know but they'll still use it

a lot of clubs will have points deductions, and we'll still only be 10th -
Well yeh I didn't say it works I agree actually but there has been the odd rumour that wise is out at the end of the season which I think everyone hopes is true and of so who knows?

As long as we're not playing Liverpool. we were robbed?
-
not neccesarily, we know english managers wouldn't accept the system but continental managers are used to working under "directors" who find players etc
-
I just can't bring myself to accept it, until its a mathematical certainty I will NOT accept it, we're staying up! end of story

Interesting Developments within the Club...

Ding Ding Ding, We have a winner... Judging by your photo, we have the winner to be Beardsley's stand in when he's too busy to occupy the bell tower. You might have to get a bit of a haircut though, as Beardsley's is slightly more fashionable than that mess. your words cut so deep -
they won't be short of witnesses

Bollocks - 50p a unit won't affect the price of a pint. It will affect the price of wine though. like I said they won't be putting it in place on certain wines and such ie no pricing increase anyway

can we not just get rid of this one? not funny/subtle/interesting easy ban no one will mind -
allardyce defending that dive too, "he thinks he felt contact" as justification ffs, 1. football is a contact sport you are allowed to touch opposition players 2. he kicked himself very lightly, I don't think I would even have noticed if I'd done that to myself I know managers are meant to be biased towards their own teams but sometimes you just have to stand up and say "yes hes done wrong there and I'm not happy with it" as opposed to defending the indefensible ie that tackle and that dive or you just end up looking like a complete wanker which is exactly what sam has done

this was covered on BBC new a few weeks ago and it came across to me that they will only be "minimum pricing" what are basically "working class" drinks while it said that certain wines and...I think she actually put it "higher class whiskies" etc won't be
