Free rail travel for police today
essembeeofsunderland replied to essembeeofsunderland's topic in General Chat
And we all believe what the police say, don't we. Could all those police officers who received free travel to attend funerals for police officers they never knew not have been better off changing trains at Manchester and heading straight to Wales to help in the search for the young lass who has been missing since last Monday. The GMP force numbers more than 13,000 so very few would have ever been in contact with the two female police officers,to answer an earlier statement. -

Menezes.8 bullets in the head and no police officers did anything wrong.Lost cctv footage ( same as Hillsborough ). Who mentioned a public holiday for the 1,433. Am i getting this right. The police were given free travel to attend the funerals, even though they had free travel anyway !! -
Free rail travel for police today

How many of the police officers knew the police officers whose funeral they attended. Did the relatives of the 1,433 people who have died due to `police contact' since 1990 receive free rail travel to attend the funerals. I wonder how serious the police will look into `blame'when the next rail disaster comes along. Is it legal for the police to accept freebies . -

Aye,but it seems there is harm in discussing free travel for the police. -

If you have nothing constructive to say, then stay silent, and if you have, please don't swear. If you don't have an explanation, maybe you are also stupid. The news said rail companies or a rail company provided free travel. -

Will i be given free rail travel if someone from the same company dies whilst at work. -
Sky news reported today that police officers who attended the funeral today of one of their colleagues in Manchester received free rail travel. Why ?

There is still no sevice coming from the wings so chances are still few and far between. It's hard for strikers to particpate in any sort of link-up play between the strikers when the ball is being humped up from defence. Santon is improving with every game but he still needs to be picked at right back, his strongest side. Don't even think about mentioning that useless baldy frenchman who came on as sub .

The Newcastle based makems reckon they will be watching the derby game in the Bodega,as they do for all their games.Never heard that before mind.

One way of narking a makem is to sing the praises of Stephen Taylor. `Foockin good player is Stephen Taylor' .Watch their faces after saying that. They hate Taylor for being brought down in the box by Malbranque a few years ago !!

The murder of 2 WPC's in Manchester today.

Arming every police officer would lead to more innocent people being killed and no prosecutions for the police officers who pulled the triggers. -

I don't know whether the Guildford 4 are still alive but they wouldn't be for def if the death penalty had been around at the time. The police prove time and time again that they cannot be trusted with or without the evidence of proof. If your daughter or son are in the frame for a murder of a police officer, and you know fine well they are innocent, would you still be in favour of the death penalty. If your son or daughter had killed a police officer, and you know they are guilty, would you still be `for' the death penalty. Since 1990 there have been 1,433 deaths following police `contact' and not one charged with manslaughter,so you go ahead and tick the box for hanging to be brought back. -

Does Tebbit also believe that every cop that shoots and kills a member of the public should also be hung, injected, electrocuted ? I cannot get away with this craic about it being extra tragic when a police officer loses their life whilst at work,as against, say, a truck driver losing his. -
Pressure was clearly put on people to say nowt,or tell lies, especially police officers but why have none of them come out in the last 23 years with the truth, reference the false statements. Many will have retired with full pensions during this time so why have they stayed quiet knowing how the families of the 96 have still been suffering. They acted like scum at the time and continue to be so. Hands up all of you who would have been ok volunteering to give a DNA sample to the police,if the chance had come your way,and who still would.
