There's a bit of a stink at the moment with reference to a testimonial for Bolton's Kevin Davies. He's got the hump because he believes he should have one after 10 years service.As a testimonial would not cost him a penny,he should keep his trap shut.The fans have been contributing to his wages for the last 10 years,so why does he think they should cough-up for a testimonial game in his honour.

Hasn't his ban in Yarm been lifted.

I don't know how much he is on with us but if Chelsea,Man Utd,Massive City,Tottenham or Arsenal come along,they will more than double is current wage so it will be bye bye Cabaye unfortunately.

In international cricket,too much emphasis is on not losing a series.Why not give each batting team a maximum of 90 overs and if they are bowled out before 90 overs have been bowled,the bowling team have those extra over added to their 90 overs.The team who scores the most runs wins.No team can slog for 90 overs so you will still see a decent game of `proper' cricket. 20/20 is the equivalent of 5 a-side football. Not proper criccket,not proper football.

Any half decent french player ( not the Zidane's of this world cos he was a better than half decent ) will look at us and realise it could be a huge plus to move here as a career move,and on a decent wage ( french wage ) ,so we could be a sort of feeder club for them.
