  1. A free match ticket with every room,or a free room with every match ticket,or a free room with a free match ticket. FRM or FTM or FR&FTM I remember a few years ago the makem echo's front page headline was `Travel Lodge to be built in Sunderland'.
  2. Wasn't David Ellery wired-up once in a game against Arsenal and Adams called him an effing cheat.Ellery's simply told him he wasn't.The experiment was never repeated, due to the amount of swearing .So what was the point of the exercise ?
  3. See you know it makes ( possible ) sense. Because Tom Ince is being linked with us,the's now crap,so say the makems.Best stay away then.
  4. I would hate to think one of the big boys come a calling for Krull this summer and Elliot starts the season as our number 1.I would have no objections if Harper started as our number 1 keeper for the coming season.Certainly in preference to Elliot in the short term.
  5. He used to hit the first man,at knee hight, everytime. That was very predictable. I have seen Cabaye take corners and he is certainly better than Robert, who is the worst ever. What is an unstoppable delivery corner kick by the way.His freekicks were something else on occasions mind.
  6. I know Robert is the worst ever corner taker in the history of football, and that includes Sunday morning football. His corners weren't even head hight when they reached the penalty box.He used to run down the side of the pitch then swing his left boot.Impossible to get the ball any near to being a good corner.
  7. `Rabbit in headlights'.He does give me that impression also on occasions.I'm not convinced he's the new Krull mind.
  8. I was embarrassed for KK when he returned with either Man City or Fulham and during a heavy defeat, morons were singing `Keegan Keegan whats the score .......' .I sat and cringed and cringed some more. I remember when he bollocked some players for sneaking out the back door after training at Durham instead of going out the front to sign autographs.I used to watch us train regularly at Durham and not only would he sign every autograph hunters book,he had a little chat with them all The man was a total gentleman when he played and later managed us.I wish him and his family the best of luck for the future. He's welcome at my house for a drink anytime.
  9. `I would like to think he will be in and around the first team'.So he's only thinking he will be in or around.
  10. A lass rang Radio Newcastle last night and complained on behalf of her friend who was given a loan for £200 to buy a dress to wear on a Friday night .She was blaming the loan company for giving the loan without checking her friends ability to pay it back. She said because her mate has no income,£2000 is now owed.We cannot put all the blame on the loan companies when you have clowns borrowing money to buy a dress for a Friday night out, without the income to pay any of the loan back. Her parents were going to pay the money back.
  11. I'm not saying i want him sold, and i don't think there will be a queue of clubs fighting for his signature if he was up for sale.Didn't he say last season that he would love to play for PSG.He's the only player we have that can go past players and make things happen. He certainly puts the frighteners on the opposition when on the ball.
  12. i think Ashley would sanction a bid of £10m for HBA.The same money for Cabaye would also see a sale.If these players do go,i hope the transfers go through quickly allowing Pardew to spend the money on players before pre-season training starts.I'd hate to think we will be starting next season with the current squad or a weaker squad.
  13. No need now.Your extra mention should be enough thanks.
  14. Unless he's given a chance at right back,i'd chase Santon.I'd get rid of Tiote and if Cabaye is going to be as equally disinterested this season as last season,he can go also.
  15. Well if its a choice between a striker who can lead the line and not score, and a striker who cannot do either ...........Davies is no Van Basten but we need someone to lead the line, whether we continue with hoofs or not.Cisse is a goalscorer who cannot hold the ball up.If we could hold the ball up,there may be a chance our mid-field players would support the front players.Apart from HBA,we have no attacking options.HBA gets criticised for trying to beat too many players, but who else causes the opposition problems offensively.A target man ( not Shola ) would hold the ball up and we certainly need someone to do such a job.I'd rather have Davies and Cisse up front than Cisse on his own.
  16. The Wonga website looks to be uncomplicated.Someone has to have the highest interest rates, and if it's Wonga, then so be it.Wonga want to lend you money and so do banks.Wonga make it easier, and if i wanted a quick loan,Wonga are an option.
  17. Any pictures of a small time football club manager in the Lazio end.
  18. I class Davies more of a target man than a striker.I think he would take pressure off Cisse allowing him to spend more time facing the goal.Davies can also run the lines, leaving Cisse to go hunting in the box.Maybe with Davies in the box for corners,we could score from one.
  19. I never mentioned goals scored.You have.Why.
  20. We'd get more from 36 years old Davies next season than Jonas,Shola and Obertans
  21. What about signing Kevin Davies for 1 season.
  22. I expect us to bring in players who's career info i will need to google.
  23. Another 12 months media love-in with Ian `Olly' Holloway to look forward to.I'd have prefered Watford to have won .Easier to get to and no annoying non-funny quips from the manager.
