He won 7 matches in a tournament which is seeded and played on home turf,A grand slam win doesn't compare with winning a golf major where you have to be better than every other competitor. To all you Murray/tennis fans, without checking, where is your hero playing his next tournament ? G....O....O....G...L...E...............If i had to spray with acid any sporting crowd at an event of my choice it would be Wimbledon Centre Court on mens final day.

So he hasn't won every trophy as a player, surprise surprise..Before we see Xmas,he will have fallen out with every manager, referee, reporter and tv pundit. The whole of english football will be against us.It will end in tears for us.Douglas couldn't be signed because it's close season and JFK had never heard of him nor seen him play. This policy will continue until has has checked the player out, which he cannot do until at least pre-season friendlies begin. -
When did he accrue these holidays and could he not have postponed them, now that he's employed again.I suppose he'll say he'll be taking in a bit scouting.
-
Baresi or Bobby Moore.Don't even think about putting the cockney above the italian so the answer is Baresi.
-
If he's an ordinary finisher, how many chances will he need to score goals if he's given an extended run and how extended will the run need to be.
-
Unless JFK has been all over Europe watching players since he left us on health grounds, what exactly will he know about future signing from abroad. No more than any of us ( not me mind ) who regularly watch european football on tv.As he has the final say on who comes in,i cannot see him totally backing Graham Carr's suggested signings.

Paolo Di Canio Hounded out by the mackems

They've done well to get £9m for their keeper.A good shot-stopper but a flapper for crosses. He'll be found out next season. -

Jonas won't have 20 proper assists or goals to his name in all his time here.I've said this before,if he gets a game because he helps the left back defend,we need a left back who can defend and a left sided midfield player who can create/score -
Aye.I remember he was some sort of fans spokesman who was appointed by possibly himself and never said a bad word about Fat Freddy. As for the Krays,i have been informed that they came to Newcastle by train with one minder, and were told by a number of families who `ran' the toon that they were not welcome and off they went back to London. Were they not involved in a night club owned by Bob Monkhouse at the corner of Bath Lane and Westgate Rd.I think they were looking to get a bigger foothold in the toon which didn't go down too well with a number of families.

Yes he is,but when he goes,he wasn't of course, and the player who comes in to replace him will be better, until he goes .....and so it continues in makemland.Every player who signs for the makems is a good player, did you not know that. `He must be a good player ( Connor Wickham ) because Liverpool were after him'. Every new manager is a good manager in makemland. Keane = he wasn't though..Brucey = he wasn't either.Marty = he wasn't.Their drink driving ex-chairman promised them he was going to appoint a world class manager. He appointed himself !! The makems know nowt about football and they regularly prove this. -
Last season Short's response to Pardew's offer of a handshake was `F*** off'. Classy chaiman of a classy club
-
IF YOU SAY SO

i see the makem chairman wore an FTM badge when meeting the president of Tanzania recently.Classy.

It will be interesting to hear the views of Kinnear and Pardew after our first signing.I cannot imagine Kinnear staying in the background and saying nowt. -

`If i offended any Newcastle fans'. So he's still not sure whether he did or not . `Damien Duff is one of the best left wingers in the country'. He certainly wasn't when he played for us.In fact,he wasn't even half decent when he played for us. -
If Cattermole is on his way,no doubt the makems will say as one `he wasn't much good anyway'.

Dennis Wise was in for the Millwall job so he's sniffing around managerial vacancies so i'm predicting Pardew will be gone before Xmas and Wise with Harford as his right hand man will be in place before the January transfer window opens. -

If i was an owner of a football club and i knew nowt about football,i'd employ someone who i believe knows about football to oversee the comings and goings and the general way the club is being run on the footballing side.Ashley clearly believes JFK is the man for the job.We cannot really blame JFK for putting in for the job, because we would all have applied if we'd known the position was available. -
Will JFK be allowed into the dressing room on matchdays. It's an action the vast majority of managers would never allow. We know he's going to travel on the team bus for games.
-
Only someone really really desperate would apply to be our manager if the job became vacant which would strengthen JFK's position. As for incoming players, how many will have been impressed with JFK's recent interviews, and his past actions as our manager. What a mess we're in.We don't pay top wages,we don't pay top transfer fees and we have JFK running the show !!!
