  1. "*Stereotypical Geordie accent* After 'the lads' not so disgraceful defeat at Chelsea, things are looking up. Next up for 'the lads' is the visit of Watford. Get you ticket to see 'the lads' now by calling the box office or going on to www.nufc.co.uk....." Fucking appaling "Newcastle United - it's in ya blood"
  2. Totally agree. At home with a "bad" cold no doubt.. Most probably. It really annoys me that they're not even going to watch Newcastle, they're going to see Rooney, Ronaldo etc. If they cared that much, why aren't they going to the Spurs game?
  3. I'm 18 and think I'm about 5'6"
  4. The media are clutching at straws with this one. Where does Roeder say there that he wants to sign Peter Crouch?
  5. Pressley 'courted by five clubs' By John Sinnott Five clubs are interested in signing former Hearts defender and captain Steven Pressley, BBC Sport understands. Pressley, 33, left Hearts on Saturday after he had spoken of dressing-room "unrest" under majority shareholder Vladimir Romanov in October. He had been at Tynecastle since 1998 but was omitted from the squad for November's game at Falkirk amid reports of a plot to remove him as captain. The source refused to disclose the names of the clubs courting Pressley. Pressley has been reportedly linked with Dundee United but Craig Levein's side were not one of the five interested clubs, according to the source. Pressley is ineligible to play for any new employer before the opening of the transfer window in January. Pressley's last game for Hearts was in November's 0-0 draw at Inverness Caledonian Thistle last month. "I have enjoyed my time at Tynecastle enormously and will be sad to leave," Pressley told the Hearts website on Saturday. "Particularly, I would like to thank the fans for their support during my time at the club." Pressley lifted the Scottish Cup in May following a successful season and many point to his presence in the dressing room as the main reason for that run of good form. Hearts head coach Valdas Ivanauskas had been silent on the issue but had recently claimed that Pressley was the club's "cement". "It has been a difficult few weeks for both the club and Steven," said Ivanauskas. "We recognise the tremendous contribution that Steven has made - both as a player and as captain at Tynecastle over the years - and we wish him all the best for the future." 6. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/e...ble/default.stm Only 9 points off third place
  7. Seconded. Fucking sick of this cunt going crying to the media acting like he's the victim. Maybe if he actually tried when he played he would have been given more games?
  8. *Yawns* It is starting to be like every day he's coming out in the media and going on about how he wants to move. We get the point Albert, now fuck off, nobody really gives a shit if you leave.
  9. Sorted! Clearly a man of discriminating tastes. Will go far. Until his heart packs in. Salt over the shoulder with stage 3. In the devils face tbh! It's the only BMA approved method.
  10. Aaah I see. Makes sense I suppose. Thanks for clearing that up
  11. Why don't we play this weekend? I thought we were due to play Chelsea away... have I missed something?
  12. You may have just converted me!
  13. I put the salt on BEFORE the vinegar. Does that make me a bad person?
  14. He's beginning to get on my nerves now. Does he really need to come out with the same statement day after day in the media? Does he not realise that it won't make one bit of difference when he leaves?
  15. Couple weeks ago at work we had some people in to take our weight, height, blood pressure, cholesterol etc. One lad was classed as obese, not because of his weight, but his cholesterol level (I think). He was bricking it Straight on the phone to someone "I am eating the right stuff aren't I?" Ofcourse I was told I'm "as fit as a lop"
  16. The bloke nearly died ffs. Yes, he should rise above the morons, but I'd say he has every right to be bothered by someone taunting him because of that. Did he? That's a serious question by the way, as all I've ever heard is that he collapsed whilst working. Didn't realise he was close to death with it. Well, to be honest with you I don't know. The point I was trying to make is that it is a life-threatening illness. I should have really said he could have died.

  18. Nothing we didn't already know, but makes depressing reading indeed
