  1. Most probably (and hopefully) we'll get knocked back. Can't stop Redknapp resigning if he wants it though
  2. What a load of shite he talks
  3. Football365's view: Fuck off
  4. Fuck sake. Only two domestic managers I'd even consider having here and thats Strachan and Redknapp. Just had a strange thought... Keegan anyone??
  5. Klinsmann is only marginally more proven than Shearer tbh. We want someone with a track record or else we should have stuck with Allardyce. I don't see what the fuss is about Klinsmann tbh. Fair enough he did well with Germany in the World Cup, played nice attacking football, correct me if I'm wrong but before the World Cup wasn't he on the verge of the sack?
  6. Would have gave him until atleast the end of the season. Unless they have a big name lined up? SSN said before that they spoke to him at 5 o'clock to ask him about the rumours he'd lost his job, his reply something along the lines of: "It's news to me if true, I'd better go and find out". Harsh tbh.
  7. Well in my eyes theres no debate! He is a good player and should not be subjected to the shit some do on here! As a manc what was your impression of him? Scored a few beltin goals for yas! He's playing out of position, which is Allardyce's fault. Unfortunately, he seems to have been bought because he's 'versatile'. When I say that I mean that SAF tried him there once or twice so that means he must be. That's bollocks, he always looks like a striker playing in midfield and the fact he's almost got more cards to his name than Hallmark is indicative of that. When he plays upfront he always looks busy, quite Sheareresque in a way barring his finishing. Problem is Viduka, Owen and Martins are all going to be ahead of him in the pecking order so he'll rarely get a run out there. Shame because i think you play, smith and oba or smith and owen you'd get a good partnership. Instead we get to watch an imobile fat useless ozzie instead!! So basically you think Smith should be first choice striker? Viduka may be useless but he actually puts the ball in the net. Something Smith hasn't done in the PL for over 2 years is it now? To be fair on the lad he was out injured for one of those years, but regardless, his record shows that he is never going to be a regular goal-scorer
  8. I rate Martins. The lad has potential (I know, I know), he's only 22 (allegedly )... if he could sort out his composure infront of goal he'd make a very good player imo, surely this is something that could be worked on?? Ofcourse his confidence probably being rock bottom right now and being played out of position for 50% of games doesn't really help his cause..

    Emre - SSN

Would be criminal for us to sell Emre and not sign a replacement. Love him or hate him, he's the only player in the centre of our midfield who can actually create something

    A Little Assistance?

Think if you ring them on the number that's displayed on your screen when you click the "activate by phone" option, and hold on so you can actually speak to a human being, explain the situation to them and they should be able to verify it for you.
  11. Xbox 360 - nufc88 I'm shite
  12. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport...ticle630738.ece I'd have him here
  13. Personally I think he would be a good manager, but it really isn't worth the risk.
  14. Nah lets keep Allardyce !!! Lets sit back and watch what years 3,4,5 and 6 of the Souness régime would have been like. Jimbo man, I appreciate a lot of what you say, but you've proven over the last three managers you're the first to call for their heads. While you've been a decent judge of character for the first two (not that it would take a fucking genius) but you're being far far to presumptious in your assesment here. If you Honestly HONESTLY think that Allardyce is as bad a amanger as Souness (despite taking Bolton to European competion over time, playing effective football and doing it all no a smaller budget) then I guess there's no changing your mind. But if that's what you honestly believe then I wonder what football you expect from a mid-table club like Newcastle United, because face facts, we're lgiht years off the top four, we're a good three or four quality signings off the following pack of four. Right now, 9th place, that is where Newcastle United belongs right now. If you're wistfully wishing for European football or football of grace and style we see when we reminisce about a decade ago, then you really need to reassess. We're not there anymore, we're miles from it. Not sure about others, can only speak for myself, but my main gripe with Allardyce is him constantly playing players out of position. With Smith starting the last few games up front I thought he'd finally leared his lesson, but then today he goes and drops him back into midfield. I know he needs time (and I'm willing to be patient) but surely the basics of playing players in their natural position doesn't need time? It's basic stuff. There's also the lack of creativity in the side, Emre has his critics (and in the past I've been one of them), but right now he's the most creative player we've got, and a damn sight more creative than a midfield consisting of Butt, Barton and Smith. But aye, I do agree with you that we aren't good enough for Europe and alot of our fans probably think we're better than what we actually are (not saying Jimbo is one of them)
  15. Or that he'd even consider coming here.
  16. Good news but I'm past caring tbh. Only a matter of weeks until he has another spell on the sidelines
  17. I hate the word with a vengeance but once in a while...YOU are a grade A CUNT !!! What she said. Pretty obvious you've never been in a relationship James
  18. Be funny as fuck to see Ashley singing "He wanks his dog, Keano" whilst doing the wanker sign live on Sky
  19. Think they said on Sky it was the lowest ever Prem attendance at the Reebok
  20. Tottenham part company with Jol Tottenham manager Martin Jol has parted company with the north London club. Jol tendered his resignation before taking charge for the game against Getafe - a 2-1 defeat in the Uefa Cup. Spurs, who are third from bottom in the Premier League, have won just one league game after spending heavily during the summer transfer window. Sevilla coach Juane Ramos has reportedly agreed to become Spurs' new manager at the start of next season. Spurs reportedly met Ramos in August with a "dizzying" offer to replace the 51-year-old Jol at White Hart Lane. During the defeat to Getafe in a a Group G game Spurs fans gave vocal support to the Dutchman singing "Stand up for Martin Jol" during the match. Jol took charge of Spurs in November 2004, taking over from Frenchman Jacques Santini and under the Dutchman the club twice qualified for the Uefa Cup. Having recruited the likes of Darren Bent, who cost £16.5m, Gareth Bale and French defender Younes Kaboul during the summer, Tottenham had high hopes of challenging for a Champions League place. But Spurs have suffered a disastrous start, recording just one victory - the 4-0 win over Derby in August - and since the reported meeting with Ramos, Jol has faced constant questioning over his future. 21. QFT. Broke my K800i a few months ago and went for a Samsung U600 as a replacement, and I don't like it one bit. I'd sell it if I could get the camera to work properly
  22. Whereas Lehmann has shown on more than one occassion he can make fuck-ups which can result in Arsenal dropping points
