What attracted me to Newcastle ?

Believe it or not, it was Michael Chopra. There was a small article in our local newspaper that an Indian Origin is playing for Newcastle United, that is the first time I am hearing about Newcastle United. It was the year 2002, So I started watching Newcastle United matches to see if Chopra gets a run. From there, slowly Sir Bobby Robson, Shearer & Given helped me carve Newcastle United into my heart. 

Supporting Newcastle changed me to be a better man.

I was a plastic/arrogant fan at first. When Newcastle lose, it was always the fault of the referee/opposition player/team/weather/pitch/ball/tea lady and what not...the list goes on. Following & interacting with some hardcore Newcastle fans, I’ve learned to accept defeat and enjoy victory without being arrogant. Now I can have watch a match without any bias.
