Ooh. We're off to Prague next month, the regulation day trip was going to be to Český Krumlov but I might reconsider now. Although "Darling, want to come and look at some skulls with me?" might take a bit of hard selling.

I'm pretty sure I've seen them around recently, but given my strike rate in this thread so far, don't quote me.

Translation: I still can't get past my irrational hatred of Scousers to the point where I'm able to make a balanced and eloquent post myself.

A spira's cross section was like a 5 spoke wheel. A twirl (still around) is more like a dipped flake. Completely different chocolate. Ah reet, fair enough then. I imagine your average pleb couldn't tell the difference though. I always liked Spiras myself, wouldn't be sad to see their return. Must see if Wispas have penetrated the boundaries of Sarf-East Lahndan yet.

Were they not basically the same thing? Milk chocolate fingers with a slightly twisty cross-section?

And now in a real language please

Kids in the hall was fantastic. Aye, I heard the DVD was out and figured I had to get my hands on it. Hope it still holds up after all this time, mind.

And this whole thing still comes across like a 14-year-old trying to "prove" to his parents how good his taste in music is so they'll let him put on one of his CDs in the car.

Who says those insultingly easy late-night game shows aren't worth watching? She comes back on and explains, cool as you like, that she's having a particuarly rough period. Gotta love the Swedes.

I think "Sweaty Betty" was probably my earliest exposure to the world of recorded filth. Happy days.

Anyone heard of a fella called Jean-Robert Bellande? He's on the current series of U.S. Survivor and claims to be a famous player. Either way, so far he's done nothing but act like, well, a complete and utter Bellande. I remain to be convinced that this is all part of his grand poker-style strategy...

What was the her band in the 80s again, Yazoo? Yep. You taking the piss? If not, ask Gemmill. Actually Martin, no I wasn't but was early when i posted the question and I've been working long hours and I couldn't even remember Vince Clarke's name and fucking hell that's just stoopid on my behalf. Did Erasure form before or after yazoo split? He's been on a constant downhill his whole career if you think about it really. Disappointed. I thought it might have been a sideways swipe at the porky ginger one. Afterwards I think, anyway. Andy Bell was his next "project", if you will. Lord only knows what Moyet must have done to the poor man...

Big chunk out of the as-yet-nonexistent mortgage I guess. Though I'm starting to wonder if there's even any point in buying these days (at least until the market goes kerplunk at some point).

One of the best arguments against claims that kids' TV was better back in the day.

Sorry to quote a post so extensive, but :D
