Easy to dismiss as a fairly standard muso bloke decision, but it's a canny album. And their response was well worth it.

This may have been discussed on here before, but anyway: fella's just bought a new laptop with substantially worse internal speakers than the last one, and the tinny sound quality is going to do my head in before long. Can anyone recommend a decent pair of reasonably compact USB speakers? They don't have to deliver ground-shaking bass, just a decent well-rounded sound with enough at the lower end not to drive me to distraction. There's tons of options out there, all with varying and often contradictory reviews, so I'm at a bit of a loss.
