"It's fun to stay at the... wait, fucked it up again."

And here's the proof: Maybe you could ask in the YouTube comments if anyone knows who recorded the original....

Don't recognise the singer, and the only Google hits I can find for the lyrics are Happy Hardcore versions: http://www.happyhardcore.com/records/recor...rdtracksid=5462 http://www.rave.hu/dalnez.php?id=42 So I assume this is the original version of a song that got raved up at some point, but I have no idea beyond that. Curiouser and curiouser.

It's a fine album indeed. I've been giving it to people for birthdays etc. since discovering it. Anything to help their taste along a bit. (Dark Was The Night, this is.)

And your excuse for taking Sam and me there that time? (OK, OK, so we probably needed somewhere close because he was complaining about the fact that Newcastle actually has hills. ) It's close enough to the gay scene? Something about catmag's pink triangle? Jonny! :D

See, I think one of the class things about this place is that we can even have a thread like this in the first place. I've been on forums where there's barely an ounce of self-awareness or self-analysis and the place suffers as a result - whereas sometimes () we take it to the other extreme, but at least we bother asking ourselves the questions in the first place.

Brown Eye error: lacerated by angry dwarf. Please reboot.

It's not 130 different members viewing the thread man! eh? you mean 20 people keep coming back to see how someone else has said happy birthday!!!!!! You'd be surprised at how bored a lot of us are.

Could be a woman singing it I suppose. I think Rita Coolidge did a cover and there's bound to be others.

Can't find a YouTube link for it yet/now, but Hertha Berlin-Hamburg on ESPN today was utterly spectacular. Hertha, bottom of the table and generally hopeless this season, went ahead in the ninth minute with a well-worked move from a corner. They then preceded to level things out with a comedy own goal, as a result of which (and an alleged injury, but he didn't seem to be limping much) the 'keeper was taken off in the 30th minute. A few minutes later, the Hertha substitute 'keeper raced out of his area to head away a speculative ball forward, only for it to be returned into the back of the net by Hamburg. 2-1. 86 seconds later, another speculative ball forward by Hamburg. Substitute 'keeper dashes out of his area again, heads the ball clear again - Hamburg return the ball into the back of the net again. 3-1. Which is how it finished. Sadly, there is no easy German linguistic equivalent to ROFLHAM LOLSPURZ.

My bastard parents actually took me there when I was eight. Parents of a friend of mine had a holiday cottage over there so we used to head across en masse every summer. Annual pilgrimage to the Pencil Museum and the Sellafield Visitors' Centre then onward to the nearest local pub for local people. All good fun.

Obviously we don't even get the concept of "reps" after all. It's been an admirable effort, but it's time for you to retire gracefully, I think.

Any more and I'd just say you've made a note of the date and time of the call and you've let the polis know. Or just put the phone down. This.

There were countless rumours about PE teachers and Year 9/10/11 lasses at our place (and at least one that was more than a rumour IIRC). In all seriousness, I do wonder just how many paedophiles/pederasts/hebephiles there are trolling the school changing rooms of Grate Brittun (whether active or dormant). And, indeed, I sometimes feel sorry for those who aren't, since everyone seems to assume they are anyway.

Brooker's games show should consist solely of redirecting people to http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation then sitting back on his sofa for half an hour and wanking himself silly.
