I'm not generally a lager drinker, but I quite like that. Edit. Its not a 6% job or anything, but I do like it and I'm going to get some more. I don't particular like beers or lagers that taste "strong", but that is quite nice and it isn't "gassy" like some lagers. It may not be strong enough for some though, looking at what people have said they like. Aye, I've always found Czech/Czech-style lagers to be very "smooth" drinking - regardless of their percentage actually (some are very good at being dangerously strong yet seemingly mellow on the surface ) - so it makes sense you'd have liked that one as someone who's not a fan of bubbles up the nose.

I'm still in and will be until at least May 12th

Aye, but they played in the World Cup under that name, which is what the quiz wants (see also Yugoslavia, East Germany, the aforementioned Dutch East Indies etc.). Obviously it's a bit of a grey area since Serbia is the legal successor to S&M, 91 to 03-era "Yugoslavia" and so on, but then officially there was no such thing as West Germany either.

75 out of 81. Serbia and Montenegro is a trick one, and who's ever heard of "Dutch East Indies" anyone who says they got that is a liar. I got that. Whereas I was rubbish at that - 79 and missed some absolute sitters.

It took Tirana for me (even though it showed up as Tirane) - they're normally quite good with accepting alternative spellings. Strange.

Did a beef and pak choi stir-fry earlier actually, after miraculously finding the latter at a local shop. In Lewisham. The fried chicken shops will be selling hummus next.

"Ten Storey Love Song" was the best melody they ever wrote, though. Well, the only melody they ever wrote.

Aye, I assume Newcastle will go back to Labour if nothing else. It's been too long since the last above-inflation council tax rise, people are getting restless.

I'm sorry but that is absolute nonsense. Answer me how Brown and Balls are responsible for the exact same problems in Portugal, Ireland, Greece? Answer me how Brown and Balls are responsible for the need for austerity measures being implemented across Europe and the US? The deficit is due to the recession, the debt is due to the bail-outs. Both are due to cheap credit being made available in the global markets via toxic assets. We still positioned ourselves pretty badly as a country within that. But the Tories supported it and would have done the same, so it's a moot point really.

Dyed-in-the-wool Tories will always be dyed-in-the-wool Tories until they're out of a job. That's when you see how colourfast they really are.

Another nail-biter here. Also I manually masturbate caged animals for artificial insemination

With regard to the Columbus Crew game, a good mate of mine's a regular there and has accommodation, watering-hole and other tips aplenty if any of you/us lot are planning on going, so just holler.

If you've got the kind of money you'd need to make it worthwhile, then I'd say yes. There's a nagging part of me that says we might actually have a decent chance for once, but then Lee Ryan's falsetto kicks in and it's "aye, we're coming 15th".

Accreditation confirmed for the Düsseldorf extravaganza. Press centre here I come!
