  1. Mind that would be canny funny. "Happy anniversary! Here's two portions of Curry Hell."
  2. Canny. I was thinking the more different the better really. I'll try to pop into Selfridges on the way to Kings Cross on Saturday but otherwise I'll have a look in Fenwicks once I'm in town.
  3. Take them to the Rupali. I might just get them a (nicely presented) bottle of sloe gin. It's all my mother knows.
  4. Heading home this weekend at pretty short notice because my folks have decided they're going to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary after all. Which is nice. Suppose I have to buy them a pressie now though (with or without a ruby connection).
  5. Not (just) "the children of", but youth members of the Labour party. Wor lad Eikeland was already a regional youth leader within the party who'd been predicted great things, for example. sniffer's comments aren't even worth stooping to, obviously.
  6. I'm actually quite enjoying this guy.
  7. Supporting local businesses. Big society ftw.
  8. This is currently up in the window of my local newsagents, alongside the handiman services and second-hand IKEA furniture and all. Classy.
  9. This Scouse lad I know only ever goes out with Asians. Does that count as racism or positive discrimination?
  10. I'm a little disappointed, I was hoping that was going to be along the lines of http://www.blackpeopleloveus.com/
  11. Time to call in the pros methinks. Wasps are fucking cunts.
  12. It was only a matter of time...
  13. Funniest thing for me is Milner as his replacement. "Hang on, we've got too much personality, inspiration and talent on the pitch. How can we redress this situation?" Tan-TADAAAAAH, Tedium Boy to the rescue!
  14. Fully paid-up member of Team Internet Bullyboy tbh. The shame.
  15. Even by the lofty standards of thread hijacks, this one is right up there on cloud fucking nine, really.
  16. "Even" seems a bit far-fetched, the Facebook and Twitter accounts are fairly common currency (and he's now got nearly 1500 followers on Twitter despite not even actively using the medium, which is kinda unpleasant). The tax records thing is interesting, though, because it shows just how open a society Norway is - public access to that kind of thing is taken as a given, whether you're a politician, a celeb, a footballer or an ordinary right-wing nutjob.
