  1. Prick Let's be honest though, the poppy means absolutely fuck-all once the likes of sports teams feel compelled to have it incorporated into their shirts as standard "because that's just what you do". What's the point of it if you're basically discouraged from actually thinking about what it stands for and what your attitude towards it is? It ends up being just another logo on a bit of corporate kit, and that's not right. No, you're just being a prick. Calling it fascism is grotesquely offensive to the veterans who gave their lives for YOU. It's really not. But they fought for my right to be a prick too, so hey, it's all good.

  3. 24-page threads about our matches?
  4. Getting thoroughly tired of the poppy fascism in this country tbh, but it's still a bit of a petty thing for FIFA to do if true.
  5. Even if we get smashed off them, we can't end up lower than, what, 7th or 8th or so even in the worst case scenario? Fine work.
  6. "When I arrived I got really close with Xisco."
  7. It's the Guardian/Louise Taylor, so you have been warned: http://www.guardian....view?CMP=twt_gu
  8. What news bulletins you listening to that's covering Bond films like? Its been on EVERY 5 Live news for the past 3-4hs The local London news tonight was class. "We don't yet know if they'll be filmed simply drinking cocktails by the Thames or on a car chase throughout the entire city, but one thing is for sure: the new Bond movie is big news for London." Fuck off man.

    Benefit Fraud

If you had to totter around under the weight of a giant feather boa for a living, you'd have a dodgy back too.

    Morning Peeps

Having it with a couple of slices of Hovis, just for balance.

    Morning Peeps

I've been awake since 4. Just whipped up a batch of Brock's special ratatouille ( ), so things could be worse.
  12. I wouldn't have bothered adding an extra colour for Peripheral Lincolnshire either

Can't help you, Bev. I don't do nuts at all. Interpret that as you will I think "disappointing" covers all permutations.
  14. Not funny, but figured it might as well go in here
  15. Crouch has been rubbish for a career or two. FYP
  16. http://www.telegraph...-Wimbledon.html They had fuck all about them other than a towel and big fuckers. I'd probably go the other way, to be honest - I think dismissing Wimbledon that readily is an insult in itself. Christ, in their glory days they even managed to make Vinny Jones seem moderately charming in an underdog/anti-hero kind of way... whereas what have Stoke got now that they've established themselves as big spenders with actual ambition?
  17. I'd be surprised if he ever starts a proper match again (for anyone). Will probably end up in the Icelandic league alongside Tomi Ameobi.
  18. From the BBC report. Was I pissed or was our pen not twice as clear cut as there's? Ba stepped in with his shoulder, huth did a full on shove. thought they were about equal myself If their pen was deserved then ours was. Consistent reffing. Just found it odd the Beeb highlighted ours as being weak and not theirs. FWIW, the Guardian minute-by-minute described theirs as "so soft" and ours as "as clear as they come". Not sure I agree really, I'd put them about equal too. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/oct/31/stoke-city-newcastle-united-mbm?newsfeed=true
