Smashing time at his friend's wedding last night - just the right amount of drunk, just the right degree of ceilidh dancing avoidance - then promptly put together an IKEA sofa and footstool on returning home, followed by doing the last clean and clear-up at the old place and closing the door behind me with the keys left inside. Now kicking back on said sofa with a beer and a pile of reduced Tesco sarnies. This is the life.

The German press aren't too happy. Their player scores always use the school mark system of 1-5, corresponding to A-E on exams here. But apparently they were shite enough tonight that the introduction of a 6 was necessary.

Train to Metheringham then a local bus (or a cab, depending on the timetable) on the way up, cab to Lincoln then train on the way back, most likely. Obviously driving would be a lot easier but I intend to get thoroughly smashed and I'd rather be brutally hungover on three trains than at the wheel of one car.
