Aye, it's back to the Queen Vic now and seems canny enough the few times I've been in. Decent range of beers and the bar snacks look quite tempting. Definitely an improvement anyway, though being an old man I tend to end up in the County or the back room of the Gosforth instead. The Wetherspoons is perfectly OK too. No need to walk to the metro even, there's tons of buses go from right outside the High Street pubs past the Town Moor to the Civic. Takes 5 minutes (well, maybe a bit longer with matchday traffic).

I just guess them on that category. I figure if you're quick, there's a decent chance you'll get one and maybe two right in a round, which might be enough.

They just did the final qualification draw for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, and it's Ivory Coast v. Senegal in a two-legged tie with only the winner progressing to the tournament proper. So at least we'll only be losing Tiote or the Dembas in Jan/Feb, and not all of them.

It's at least two years too late to help him keep control of several of the councils in question, so that'd be about right, aye.
