  2. 'tis (or at least I have no evidence to suggest that it's not)
  3. If you had a telescope you could. But THEY would find a way of hiding the strings hanging it up from the clouds.
  4. I think you've mistaken the Kate Moss Workout for the Butterfield Diet Plan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWgwJfbeCeU
  5. Rarely this bright though, apparently? Or maybe Kryten was bullshitting me.
  6. Lad I know does the 12-8 eating thing combined with intense workouts and his body shape and muscle tone are really coming on. Mind he's also in the middle of transitioning female to male and is on hormone injections so that might have something to do with it.
  7. The tweet in question was by Robert Llewellyn aka Kryten from Red Dwarf, a spaceship that is clearly fictional. This is starting to smell fishy.
  8. Yep. I was surprised at how cool it was actually. Mind you, seeing anything in the skies with London light pollution is a minor miracle, so it might have just been that.
  9. Sorry boss, only saw a tweet about it at very short notice!
  10. Should be an ISS flypast tonight in about 10 minutes (21:18 or so). Look to the west with a hint of south. It's half-cloudy here but hopefully should spot something.
  11. Marina Lewycka - We Are All Made Of Glue Entertaining enough ramble in a quirkiness-meets-Holocaust kind of a way from the Ukrainian tractors lady. The conceit of the title is laboured and doesn't hold up to scrutiny, but the story itself is perfectly engaging leafing fodder.
  12. When watching vintage-era Pavarotti sing "Nessun dorma", natch.
  13. "Suarez booked for a ridiculus gesture at the referee's assistant following an offside decision. Stupidity." A real charmer, that one.
  14. There were plenty of hiccups along the way. But THEY invented the hiccups just so we would believe THEIR version of events.
  15. (No reason, I just figured we needed an interval act after 60+ pages)
  16. Why do they have to be elements?
