Not small-time at all, of course, but still:

I know, right? Liverpool in 3rd?
-
Unrelated since it's a wee laddie, but saw this today and it tickled me somewhat. Aussies, eh?

The summer when Shearer lost a bar but gained a baby. Congrats.

Buying the Dutch under-17 keeper has worked out well enough for us, I suppose...

He's right mind, Rudisha is basically the ULTRAMENSCH. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKEOjWEzVGs

If I'd been the only person in a Tesco at 6am, I'd be looking for every opportunity to massage my own self-worth too.

"Basically most recent sporting achievements are down to her."

Her name was Cecily. Show some respect.

I've got no problem with it in principle, as long as they accept convenient ID. I've driven a car once in the last 13 years but I got a photo driving licence so as not to have to carry my passport with me in places that generally demand ID wherever you go and however old you are. Makes life a lot easier.

Ahh, the joys of living in South London.

You are, but it's only the third worst mistake in your post. The second is dismissing knockout formats as a valid sporting construct, and the first is thinking golf is a sport.
-
If it has subtitles, I'll give it a go.

Still waiting for an adequate explanation of this one.

Scandi night chez Meenz, courtesy of the wonderful Film Four. Festen is really very good. Of course the Dogme ethos is trumped-up nonsense, and the Danish language is so ugly you can't tell who's supposed to be drunk and who isn't, but the script and performances are terrific. You, The Living is a bizarre collection of loosely interlinked skits on sadness and mortality, played out against a grey and faded Swedish urban landscape. The humour is dark, bone-dry and, for the most part, very quiet. If anything it reminded me of some of the more experimental parts of Monty Python's Meaning Of Life, which is generally not a bad thing.

Not if you do it right like I do. Trollies at the self-service tills!
-
The amount of sorting time required to ensure correct bag content distribution is the same whether the sorting takes place pre-scan or post-scan. It's quite logical. What we should really be focusing on here is people who think it's OK take trollies to the self check-out.
-
Which is why I don't do that, as I said. Or I can scan it all through quickly and put it in the correct order when I'm packing it, which takes the same amount of time, as I said. Also, a trolley at the self-service? Ewerk is going to go fucking apeshit.
