Just catching up on tonight's MOTD. Steven Fletcher has a tattoo on his lower back that reads... "FLETCHER".

The main thing I'm getting from that photo is that the kit was basically designed to make dumpy blokes look like they had remarkably pert bottoms. What's 1982-speak for "Gok Wan" and how did he wangle himself onto the design team?

I loved her hit single "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)"

Got several sports documentaries queued up to watch on YT when I have the time (not least thanks to paragraph 1 here), but that's definitely going on the list. Ta.

http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2013/sep/20/justin-fashanu-problems-gay-sport?CMP=twt_gu Decent enough summary, I think - putting Fashanu up there as some kind of poster boy for gay sportsmen is obviously excessive, but you'd like to think he'd have got a fairer deal nowadays, with most coaches being more enlightened than the likes of Clough and society having generally moved on a bit, even to the extent of relatively minor stuff like there being a pro-gay equality song in the top 10 (that's the top 10 of the hit parade, pop pickers!). I find it hard to disagree with the reader comment about agents rather than fans being the real sticking point, for all there's no concrete evidence to back it up - yes, an out gay footballer would get stick from the stands, but fans will always find something to focus on if they think they can unsettle an opposition player. You won't make it as a professional footballer without a thick skin, whoever/whatever you are. And it's not as if Brighton do any worse for the constant away-fan contributions of "Does your boyfriend know you're here?" and similar. But tell an agent that their protégé is about to make his merchandise supposedly unwearable on the street or the playground....

I pretty much jinxed Mainz, then. Also, for all it wasn't in the Bundesliga, crikey.

I know actual people - some of them with largely functional brains - who intend to vote UKIP next time round. It's amazing.

Uh-oh - I've got the espresso part of my hefty old Krups coffee machine working again. This will totally turn me into the kind of person who grinds his own coffee beans*. *not a euphemism, though I also masturbate

Awesome, eh.

I refuse to tolerate this hypocrisy. And I'm not even over 35.

I'm more of an AFC Twinkledon man, as Leazes will tell show you.
