Much like our lupine friend here. Hmmmmm...

There's enough straw men in that post I'm scared to strike a match anywhere near it. It's true, though; when the docs were helping me to kick my booze habit, they never once mentioned the dangers of Dr Pepper. I may sue.

Just had a lovely courgette, mushroom, pepper and pak choi stir-fry. It's been nice knowing you all.

    Earth.

In this thread there is only chaff.

I haven't seen this much fuss over rice since Challenge started showing Treasure Hunt repeats in HD. (etc.)

"How do I separate the bodies of the chicken from the tentacles?"
  7. Just did my first Parkrun. Some of the hills were a right pain in the arse - the local park is called Hilly Fields, so I suppose that should have been a clue - but it was generally all right. Decent bit of camaraderie certainly helps to spur you on even when you're feeling like a sweaty wreck of a human.
  8. Now it's my turn to be in full agreement with CT.

And then be amazed and somehow manage to blame us when it's not the same.
  10. We do indeed have that game, though our version is called "CT At An All-You-Can-Eat Buffet".
  11. And another game to what it was then...

Most likely. It's pretty good, if a bit Delia. The pastry has cumin seeds in it, which strikes me as rather exotic for the time. Christ I'm gay.
  13. They wouldn't tolerate that kind of behaviour at Bavarian.
  14. I did say I'd take you for a German sausage...
  15. Fish and I did offer when he was in London last week...

Making an easy-peasy carrot and courgette flan, from a recipe my mam snipped out of the Chronicle in at least the 80s.
  17. #Banter aside, Tooj, get on it, it's good. The one thing I'll say is try to do your running outdoors rather than on a treadmill if at all possible. The former is definitely a bit tougher on the legs, but I mainly did the latter due to a combination of Public Manboob Exposure Paranoia and not wanting to run around with headphones after dark - which should be less of an issue at this time of year. Anyway, I'd forgotten from past bouts of temporary fitness that it's definitely an extra step up to run on tarmac rather than a nice friendly moving treadmill. Did my first non-gym 5k of this "phase" earlier in the week and it was hard work, but it happened. Probably going to hit the local Parkrun on Saturday and see how much of a killer that is (the route is v. hilly).
