Indeed, there was quite a range. Meanwhile, a fella collapsed and nearly died at Parkrun this morning, needed defibrillation and everything. Conclusive proof that God hates all exercise-related New Year's resolutions. Back to the cheese!

Merry New Year and all that. I'm supposed to be doing Parkrun at 10am but I've been drinking sugary drinks all night and there's a cheeseboard in front of me the size of, oh I don't know, a DVD player or something, so the resolutions might have to wait until the 2nd. Hope 2015 is a smasher for all of youse.

About as expected tbh (in a good way, mainly). I liked that they kept it stripped back to the three of them for the entire THB set, made it all suitably dark and angular (thought Mausoleum and Intense Humming were particularly good, plus the usual pogo-tastic highlights of course). Second set, well, they're Coldplay with better tunes nowadays and fair play to them. What did you reckon?

Might give the nod to the Antlers' "Familiars" for best album. Best gig is a straight scrap between Sarah Jarosz and Sturgill Simpson.
