He's already said he sees "backing a side" in politics as akin to supporting a football team, so I suggest hiring a plane with a "Red Ed" banner to tail his taxi all day long.

World's most suicidal nation. Figures.

As if you'd say that in a thread where Fist is lurking...

That's a bit harsh. On Cath's lad.

I wonder if he can cook.

Aye, there's enough people unaware there even was a protest, so I suppose it could raise awareness for the next attempt (whatever form that takes).

Tough choice. A bunch of overpaid men going round in circles while offering no obvious entertainment value, or the F1. I'm watching Pointless, which also seems reasonably appropriate.

He's an "urban contrarian". He's also a miserable old bugger who's probably bitter because nobody would put up with him for long enough to want to marry him. But in all seriousness, he does at least have clear arguments to back up his stance, agree with them or not: http://www.independent.ie/irish-news/why-ill-be-voting-no-to-samesex-marriage-even-though-im-gay-30953906.html

Quite weird being on social media when someone you know in real life is trending. One of the most vocal campaigners against marriage equality in Ireland is also one of the country's most prominent Eurovision fans. As well as because he's a self-hating gay with a weirdly paradoxical set of opinions, he's apparently also getting stick because he'll be missing the referendum itself to be in the press centre at this year's contest.
