  1. Hamburg for about three hours on Saturday afternoon: Hamburg for the rest of the weekend: Standard.
  2. Pleased to say Brock is doing well and has a beard the size of a small country.
  3. Mind, I'm disappointed he hasn't somehow conspired to give his kids the initials SMB.
  4. One of the shite things about growing older online is that bad things start happening more often to people you know (whether virtually or irl), though that's also a measure of how strong these communities can end up being. This weekend in Hamburg we've been raising a glass to a couple of people from our Eurovision forum we lost this year. I didn't get on with one of them especially well, but he was as much a part of the furniture as anyone else. Similarly, I'm sure Stevie wouldn't mind me saying we aren't exactly on the same page when it comes to many things in life but I'm really glad he's doing well and hope he continues to beat the odds. He may not have been around here for a while but this place would have been a lot less colourful without him.
  5. Off to Hamburg tomorrow for a long weekend. Looks about right.
  6. Ah, the missing chapter of Goldilocks and the Three Bears that you only get on certain sites...
  7. Downstairs Loo. You can bet anywhere these days.
  8. Someone else do the next nomination, I'm satisfied with being considerably better than Gemmill.
  9. Decent start. Not sure who this Toni Lindgren is, mind. Any relation to Astrid?
  10. I was thinking the same when I found myself reading this the other day. https://melmagazine.com/en-us/story/an-oral-history-of-goldeneye-007-on-the-n64 That game pretty much wrecked my 2nd year at university, but to quote Limmy's Show, well worth it, mate, well worth it.
  11. Imagine that turning on a dodgy VAR decision.
  12. For maximum fewm, the captcha should just be a picture of the San Siro with "Select all squares with MACKEMS. If there are none, click skip"
  13. I've just tested the heating in the new place to make sure it works when we do need it (probably this weekend). Pleased to report that it does. Fascinating.
  14. I wouldn't read their poetry book, mind.
  15. Sleaford Mods are a very good band to read.
