  1. Corbyn surge or no Corbyn surge, I can't understand why their election process is so long and drawn-out.
  2. Skid Row, now there was a band. Well, a band with about three good songs. But damn those songs were good.
  3. I'm still waiting to cash out my Corbyn bet on Betfair. Assume he won't actually win, but there should be some more momentum to come, especially after yesterday.
  4. Currently rocking my little world:
  5. That's not what the finds liaison officer calls it.
  6. Aye. Round the coast and onto the dinky railway if we do it at all, I think.
  7. I've been looking at the western side because we're staying near Elterwater/Skelwith Bridge for three days so it wouldn't be a huge leap for a day trip. Starting to have second thoughts now though.
  8. Damn this is complicated, and all I want to do is hoyr a cahr from Harvay Dooning at Enterproyz
  9. Ah yep, had read about that but I'm bound to forget it in the meantime so I'll scribble it down, ta
  10. His celebration makes sense now, his tongue's basically lolling out of his mouth as standard.
  11. I'm picking up the hire car in Birmingham and I've just got an e-mail about required documentation from the "intern". He's called Harley Dunning. Not saying this over and over again in a Brummie accent when I do so will be an exquisite challenge.
  12. Good to know where to avoid, ta
  13. Just putting together a trip with a good friend at the end of August/start of September - the fella's jetting off to Portugal for a week with his #bestie and my mate's never seen the UK beyond London, so we're going to cram the Lake District, somewhere Scottish (probably Arran) and a good chunk of Northumberland and Newcastle into about eight days. This does mean being in the Lakes on August bank holiday weekend, though, which I'm sure will prove to be a terrible error. Though probably not as terrible an error as me being the designated driver for the entire trip despite having driven a car once in the last 14 years.
  14. http://labourlist.org/2015/07/48-mps-break-whip-to-vote-against-welfare-bill-full-list/ (just for reference)
  15. Ah, the Poverty Line! CT knows it intimately.
  16. Seriously though, I'm no CT when it comes to alternative music, but if I want to listen to a man shouting atonally for between two and eighteen minutes I can go to Lewisham High Street whenever I want to.
