"an Disinformation Agent"? Promising start.

Youngish fella on the bus last night was talking to someone about the "bargain" properties he'd been looking at in London, such as a 2-bed for "only" £325k. A flat, obviously. In "outer London". Well, OK, actually in Kent. Bargain.

Can't understand why CT is concerned his son might turn out to be a bit fey.
-
Finally, a political problem CT is ideally equipped to address.

Who needs apps anyway? The 1950s had it covered.

We certainly realise that last part.

I think this probably belongs here rather than in the Holidays thread, so: As part of this, I'm going to focus on the Northumberland coast and Newcastle itself during our limited time in the north-east, but we should have time to stop off and do something along Hadrian's Wall on the drive down/across from Arran. What's best for a couple of hours to give a visitor the general impression? Housesteads springs to mind, but it's been years - let's be honest, decades - since I've done any of it, so I don't really know my Vindolanda from my elbow.

I can't imagine anyone being interested in a pastime revolving around a semi-arbitrary points-giving system.

This resentment can only be because there was no public acknowledgement of essembeeofsunderland essembeeofsunderland's passing.

Disproportionately happy to be able to exercise again after two months of stomach bug and Achilles tendon misery. Taking it relatively easy on the feet (though a trot around parkrun at the weekend seems to have produced no ill effects), but I've signed back up to the gym - one that's so budget it's even actually called Budget Gym - so hopefully can push on a bit from here. Don't mind Sundays as much, but midweek weddings (that you're inviting lots of people to)? Wilfully selfish behaviour.

You've not watched much football, have you?
