  1. CT wants to know what's for main course. I like my colleagues, Renton! Though only having to see them once or twice a year may help.
  2. I watch a fair amount of trash telly but I've missed this fella, I have to say. Although my tabloid of choice is the Guardian, so hey.
  3. You can prove anything with facts.
  4. That's (necessarily) most London developments these days. Spot the difference between Lewisham and not-Lewisham...
  5. If you will insist on having your Christmas bash at Chester Le street cricket club... I'm up from Jan 2nd-4th if anyone legitimately fancies a belated TT festive pissup. Christmas sweaters optional.
  6. I ask them if they want a drink. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  7. I don't mind ours. They could drag me up to Nottingham where I'm technically on the payroll, but instead they're happy to fly me out to Berlin where they can save a hotel fare because I stay with one of my best mates who also works for the company. And I get a slice of Berlin out of it. Win-win.
  8. Which is precisely why I've bet on Tyson Fury to be top 3 in SPOTY, because enough people are idiotic enough to think ITS A MATTAR OF PRINCIPUL
  9. You're only saying that because the Bible was written in English. Racist.
  10. http://metro.co.uk/2015/12/06/what-happens-when-you-read-people-the-bible-but-tell-them-its-the-koran-5547109/
  11. He's about as closet as 1980s Elton John.
  12. I mainly keep mine because they look good as decorations. Same with books really. What else are you going to have on your walls, IKEA prints? Far rather a backdrop of outdated but gorgeous-looking Old Media.
  13. My mate from Germany, with whom I did a road trip including the Lakes a few months ago, has been in touch saying he wants to go back as soon as they're sorted and plough some money into the local economy. Which is a very German way of looking at things, but quite sweet all the same.
  14. I was going to say, I still like the ritual of CDs in the car. Although I drive once every five years or so, so it's not hugely relevant to my life.
  15. Christ. Such a lovely part of the world too.
  16. You still off the drink or did that go the way of the boycott? Love Edinburgh like, was up there again a couple of months back and every time I keep thinking I could live there (but then it feels like about half the population is English, so that fits). Went to a pub whose menu highlight was a jumbo hot dog topped with haggis. What's not to like?
