I exercise specifically so that I can eat more shit. It's a reasonable trade-off.

  4. I certainly upped my consumption of the former after giving up the latter. But then I also started eating a lot more Haribo too. I reckon they put something addictive in Tangfastics.
  5. He's the Brexit campaign in (single) human form, then. That one's working out nicely.
  6. Same here, and I'm calling it 1/16 because I've got nowt to play my old Eurovision and 90s rock records on anyway, so I'm not having that count.
  7. "And so we bid farewell to a dearly loved dad and grandad, tragically pecked to death by a flock of angry budgies. Let us take a moment to think of him as his family feels he would wish to be remembered." *click* "Jitterbug. Jitterbug. Jitterbug. Jitterbug. You put the boom-boom into my heart..."
  8. Always amused by fried chicken hellholes proudly displaying their food hygiene certificate while serving up deep-fried battery animal parts and anal tract burgers.
  9. It's just a jape. Something something wiff-waff.
  10. If a tree drinks 16 pints of peeve despite having sworn off it for months, is it really pissed?
  11. Well I do have mild asthma.................................................
  12. I don't understand how anyone can look at UKIP's vote share and impact over the last few years and assume that struggling people are turning, and will turn, automatically to Labour.
  13. The last paragraph (the Attitude quote) says it all really - do a bit of research ffs, the Yumbo Centre even has a dedicated Eurovision bar, so the clues are plentiful - but it's true that it can be a bit, well, in-your face if you're not used to it. The drink thing is cheeky as fuck mind.
  14. Best restaurant we've been to there is El Navarro. Looks like nowt from the outside because it's squeezed between two bars (or at least it used to be), but the food is good and it's not stupidly priced for the standard of the grub. You'll probably want to book a few days ahead to make sure of getting a table though (maybe slightly less so in December). Couple of the restaurants around the smaller bay at Playa Jablillo are nice - just your standard seafood, paella etc., but a bit quieter than the main burn further round the resort, so more pleasant for sitting with a sea view and a vat of sangria. Not sure about bars as we haven't been for a few years and the nicer little places tend to come and go (whereas the football and Irish places are eternal...), but I'll holler if we find anything new.
