  1. You'd never see right-wingers piling in on Diane Abbott, no sir.
  2. If it helps dissipate the Mumsnettery at all, I mainly use Handbrake to rip epic failures from Eurovision national finals to YouTube, viz.: I'm assuming CT's home videos don't resemble this kind of thing, but you never know.
  3. "I suggest you read this very good book I haven't read, but it's very good."
  4. Garlic-roasted. Say it with carcinogens, innit.
  5. Stepped down before she could get voted out. Coward. </essembee>
  6. Mind, I made this for us last year - steak bake, natch - so maybe I should sign us up.
  7. Handbrake (mentioned in that link) has always worked pretty well for me.
  8. This whole thing's definitely not a big con though.
  9. Jimmy Hill and Des Lynam's devastated faces in the BBC studio after Les got that late equaliser against them. Always.

  11. Shields Road used to have a music shop where I found Sonia's Eurovision album. Frankfurt used to have a music shop where they once played Italy's 1983 Eurovision entry over the in-store radio. I'd call it a dead heat.
  12. I actually think it's all right, or at least not quite as bad as it's made out to be - there's a decent club/gig/nightlife scene bubbling away there (probably in direct reaction to the Bankfurt blandness) and you're close to some really nice countryside and smaller cities that have a bit more character, so you can imagine there are ways of framing it as somewhere to relocate post-Brexit. (Plus excellent transport links to help you get the fuck out of there.) But aye, it's not exactly a thrill a minute.
  13. "Look, I like Frankfurt because I have to like Frankfurt" is the biggest compliment anyone has ever given Frankfurt.
  14. Never managed to listen to a Fall album all the way through. I like that one he did with the Inspiral Carpets though.

    Cooking

This fulfils the "Mediterranean" and "chicken" criteria while being pretty healthy (use skinless chicken and a bit less oil to make it even more so). https://www.deliaonline.com/recipes/international/european/italian/chicken-puttanesca Google will even show you versions that include cherry tomatoes for a CT bingo full house.
