  1. Party political thinking feels increasingly outdated really, doesn't it? Unfortunately the system seems geared to keep us on those lines.
  2. Would sort out the house prices, anyway. I'm all for it.

  5. This is one thing that worries me about it - I think some of the LD targets are based as much on hardline Tories voting BP as soft Tories coming over to the LDs. Hopefully it's more the latter though.
  6. If you bother to watch it, you'll see your direct quote is cherry-picked from her taking the piss out of how insufferably idealistic she used to be before she learned more. Not sure where the rest of your essay comes from, I was just pointing out the intellectual dishonesty of the "quote".
  7. You mean this? I'd argue there's a teensy layer of context you're ignoring.
  8. I said, you wouldn't have had much fun in Stalingrad, would you?
  9. Did you prendre le batârd good and proper?
  10. If you're in a Labour-Tory marginal, the Lib Dems take votes from the Tories and you still can't win...
  11. This is the thing Corbyn acolytes don't seem to get. He simply cannot reach across to a broader swathe of the swing-vote population, not because of his portrayal as an 80s mung-bean-eating IRA-supporting leftie, but because he's a dyed-in-the-wool Leaver. If you're a Labour supporter and in any way realistic, you actually want the Lib Dems to be disparaging Corbyn in an attempt to grab soft Tory leaver votes - it won't impact your core vote, who are voting Labour anyway no matter what, and Corbyn cannot ever hope to do the same.
  12. Roses are red Violets are blue Please vote for Labour Unless you're a Jew
  13. And deny us the pleasure we've had along the way? Apology rejected.
  14. I'm sticking with my Stavros theory
