There's nothing wrong with being confident as the world lead, but surely you'd look around at experienced people like Moon, Kennedy, Stefanidi, Murto, all of them deciding to have a go at 4.40, and think to yourself "maybe I should play it safe too?". Plus you've got Bradshaw struggling under the conditions, and Caudery literally went over and comforted her after she went out, so it's not like she was unaware. Baffling.

Yeah, apparently so. I might be being a bit harsh on her - Hudson-Smith has made massive improvements just by learning what vegetables are and not having to fly his mother out to his training camp to cook for him, after all.
