  1. I've got polycystic kidney disease, which doesn't give me any trouble or need any treatment at the minute but apparently involves a 50-50 chance of kidney failure by the time I'm old, so maybe that's enough to put me on a list of special cases.
  2. Well, most of London anyway. Soz Gloomy.
  3. I don't know, actually. I have plenty of things wrong with me (shut up) but nothing that should push me up the list as far as I'm aware - asthma that gets me the flu jab every year but nowhere near bad enough to be in a Covid risk group, #feeb kidneys that might give up on me at some point but that aren't any kind of Covid-specific risk factor, and so on. So either someone at my doctor's has looked at the cumulative picture of all that and decided I should be bumped up a bit (even though that's not meant to happen), or I've just got lucky in some other way. There's not as many old people around here because it's all young professionals who've been priced out of nicer areas so they're getting further down the list quicker, or they knew they'd have a ton of the vaccine about to expire or something, I don't know. For what it's worth, I'd say pretty much everyone else getting it when I went was in the 35-55 age range, so that suggests they've already got through all the oldies around here, anyway. Or they're all just mentalist anti-vaxxers who've refused it. Either way, I was offered it through one of the normal channels (text message + online booking) so that's a no on the walk-in front I'm afraid.
  4. I had the Pfizer on Wednesday and thought I'd got away without too much trouble, but I tried to go for a run on Saturday and nope. Had to stop and walk home with my tail between my legs. It's been all right otherwise though. #feebpower
  5. Especially for something that's happening purely so the almighty god of house prices shall never fall.
  6. Fixed the embedding for you because everyone should have the joy of partaking in his arseholery
  7. If he's such a brilliant manager and we're still where we are in the table, Shelvey is effectively saying he's so shite he's irredeemable. Reckon he even realises?
  8. Relegation play-off at Fulham and there might be home fans in? This is blatantly happening, isn't it? https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/feb/23/premier-league-vote-fans-allowed-final-game
  9. Chips and batter are it like. I don't trust a person who doesn't have a scoop of scraps with their fish and chips. (Sorry Mam.)
  10. Could do a job in center mid instead of Shelvey
  11. I don't mind the relaxation if the vaccine/hospitalisation stats really are as positive as they seem to be, but scheduling the "stay at home order lifted but people urged to stay local wherever possible" phase for the week before Easter rather than the week after is going to mean absolute chaos on the holiday weekend, isn't it?
  12. From MAGA to Mama. Life comes at you fast.
  13. I'm sorry if his mental health is suffering but he was happy enough to dunk on other people's mental health when it suited him, so hey.
  14. So Sunderland announce a chairman who's in his 20s the very day Darren Grimes moves back to live with his mam and dad
  15. I've been offered my first dose even though none of the myriad things that are wrong with me should theoretically be enough to put me on any kind of priority list. Anecdotally they're properly flying through the patient lists in some places and being fairly sluggish in others, though, so it just might be that. After that story about the 6cm bloke yesterday I'm expecting to turn up and be told they still have my booze weight on their records and I should fuck off home though.
  16. But aye, as soon as we're allowed to travel for exercise again I'm straight off to the nearest hills or the coast, even if it has to be Southend or frigging Margate. Anything for a change of scene.
