It definitely depends on the time of day here. In the daytime, most people on trains are wearing them. Evenings, with a younger and drunker crowd, 50% at best.

Castle Crag near Keswick is a nice friendly walk in the Lakes that gives rewarding views for the effort involved. CT, I've done the former with a friend whose Grindr handle has "FatLad" in it, so you have no excuse.
